These bins come packaged with one stacked inside the other and covered in very thin plastic bags. They do pull apart easily which I was worried about. Both bins then have a manufacturers tag held on by a plastic tab.Both bins have a solid base with mesh sides and a sturdy rim. They are the perfect size for tucking under a desk or table. I have one in my craft space and one in my bedroom and they look equally at home in both places. The finish is smooth and the mesh has very small holes so safe around little fingers.Both of the bins I received had sections of mesh that were sort of puckered out, like they had snagged on something. The mesh has not broken so they don't present a snag risk and when on the floor you won't really notice the puckers. They both also had a small amount of an odd brown powdery substance in the bases which stained the mesh until brushed out with a hard brush.Very basic bins but do the job even though I was slightly disappointed in the condition these arrived in - undoubtedly useful and will serve their purpose as is but little quality control.

Oredered black received silver. Slightly smaller than expected and less robust - we'll see how they last
