Reliable. Works very well.
I really like this brand. Their pumps are very reliable and easy maintenance. I've had one from 2 years ago that still works and subsequently bought others (to replace one from a different brand) because they just work. You do have to add the plug yourself but that's the same for all pond pumps of this nature. I have two 3000L and two of the larger 16,000L. One goes to filter and the other as backup and to move water within the pond. Maintenance is much easier than a different bag brand one (actually that was the pump I had first and this was its replacement. And this one was night and day in terms of power, reliability and easy of use, plus the 3000L are super eco 10 watts )

Low electricity use and power full, but...
Really cheap to run and well made, and easy to take apart and clean. Only problem is that the enclosure around the pump is quite small with a small number of vents/openings, so this pump gets blocked with debris/weedsetc more quickly than any other other pump I have had. It is a really good pump, I just wish the enclosure was bigger with more holes to let the water through so it didn't block up so quickly (weekly at present). Maybe my pond is just too dirty (I have 2 seperate filters and a UV clarifier, so hopefully not).

Happy fish
When my pond pump decided to fail at 10.30 on a Saturday night i had the pleasure of retrieving junction boxes and cables from under the decking by torchlight, after confirming the pump was the cause of the house being without power i knew i needed a replacement pretty quick, the air pump was still running but without the pump the UV would not operate so on Sunday morning i found this APS pump which looked as though it would do the job and it was ordered around mid morning upon ordering i was given the option of same day delivery which was just what i needed ( an equal power pump at the local garden centre was £150 ) so i chose the same day option and it arrived at 5.30 at no extra cost the pump itself is very well constructed and has four simple clips that make splitting the case a 10 second job and also make it very easy to refit them, it came complete with a variable size pigtail connectors which can be swivelled to suit your setup, there are two supplied as the pump body has a removable blanking plate which allows a skimmer to be run off the pump as well, this simply involves removing the blanking plate and attaching the supplied pigtail connector which in turn attaches to your skimmer flow rate seems to be correct for the stated power and it runs through my pressure pot filter perfectly, another plus is the power saving system which runs at a claimed 10 Watts, if this is correct then it is a massive saving over my dead pump which ran at 90 Watts overall i am extremely happy with this pump, to coin a phrase, " it does what it says on the tin " and does it well, this combined with same day delivery from Amazon makes it a very good purchase and one which i would recommend

Still running well after CONTINUOUS use for FIVE years.
Our 1250 Litre garden pond has been up and running for several years and each spring we clean it up and tidy the various and numerous aquatic plants. By early summer the cool and clear winter/spring pond water turns green and the five 6 inch goldfish living in the pond cannot be seen. I have kept tropical fish for many years; more recently breeding Discus in a 6 foot 110 gal display aquarium, so I fully understand water filtration and the Nitrogen Cycle. So realistically, my only option for clear pond water was to install a filter. After much research, I bought the "Fishmate 15000 pressurised UV+Bio pond filter with Powerclenz" and powered it with a "AquaECO 3000" pond pump. This pond pump is super efficient and can pump up to 3000 Litres per hour but only consumes 10 Watts. The Ultra Violet lamp housed within the filter is only 13 Watts so the combined power consumption at 23 Watts per hour is very good. I also ordered some 32mm flexible pipe to attach to the pump and filter. Although you can fit 25 mm pipe, I recommend cutting the fittings on the filter and the pump and fit the widest pipe diameter pipe to aid water flow, reduce strain on the pump and allow the returning water to the pond to flow and not be like a jet of water. I placed the filter in a hole I dug next to pond and approximately 3/4 of the way up the filter housing to conceal it but to allow easy access for maintenance. The filter and pump were only running for a couple of days and there was already signs of clear water developing. After just 5 days the pond water was completely clear and has remained so for a couple of weeks now. Cleaning the filter couldn't be simpler; just turn the knob on the top of the filter and water pressure inside the filter compresses the sponges and pumps out any dirty water. This may have to be done more frequently upon initial set-up. I can highly recommend this filter (and Pump) if it works half as good on your pond as it has on mine, you'll be very happy with your purchase. Still running very well after three years continuous use.

Reliable
We already had an All Pond Solutions AquaECO pump running our UV filter for a number of years and have had no trouble with it. When our other pump (different make) stopped working, we decided to go for another All Pond Solutions pump. This pump works well, is easy to clean and was a reasonable price.
