Fan stopped working on third day of use, pathetic, don't trust the rating

Great product, it really helps reducing symptoms of allergies (we have pets) in our household, we sleep so much better with it! A big plus is that it also clears out pet hair with its washable filter, which means we don't have to vacuum as often! Our allergies were the main reason we invested in this air purifier and it hasn't let us down months later. We use it every night and clean out the washable filter about once a week, it's super convenient and a great investment! For reference, our house is around 1000 ft2, all on one floor and open. I LOVE that there's an app that lets you see the air quality in real-time and telling you when it's time to change the filter. I also get alerts whenever the washable filter is ready to be vacuumed. On the first two settings, it's very quiet, I'm talking you won't even know it's on. We also use it as a background noise on its turbo setting, very helpful when my partner wants to sleep in and I have to do things in the house early in the morning!

​I purchased the Levoit Vital 200S-P primarily because I needed a higher-capacity unit for my 900 sq feet living space and was impressed by the 1875 sq ft rating. After using it for 6 months, I can confirm it handles the space efficiently. ​Effective Dust and Dander Reduction: This was my main concern, and the unit definitely helps. I run it constantly, and I've noticed a measurable reduction in floating dust and pet hair from my [Mention pet, e.g., dog/cat]. The washable pre-filter is practical and reduces the frequency of main filter changes. ​Good Auto Mode: I appreciate the auto setting. It reliably detects when the air quality dips (like when I'm cooking or cleaning) and adjusts the fan speed automatically. It's truly a "set it and forget it" appliance. ​Quiet Operation: The noise level is very reasonable. On the lowest settings, it’s a pleasant background hum. I'm really impressed with these. They are very easy to set up and the app is easy to install and use. They run very quiet at the #2 of 4 settings. The filter is a monster and the replacements are reasonably priced. I bought one and put it in the master bedroom. The next morning my allergy problem from the cat had vanished. I put another one in the great room and to my surprise it picked up cooking odors from the kitchen when my wife made spicy Buffalo wings. It went from blue to red then worked its way back to blue. The MB one went from blue to orange then back to blue. After a month I decided to put one in the spare bedroom where the cat box is at and it cleaned up the odors within a few hours. Every time I clean the cat box it picks up the dust and odor, changes color then eventually goes back to blue. I know for a fact these machines have cleaned up the cat allergy problems my wife and I have. No more waking up all stuffy and dealing with that all day. I have a 1600 sq. foot house so I would say you need at least two and with pets three that way they do not have to run hard. Worth every penny.

If you have other Levoit products, it’s really easy to add them to your WIFI & VeSync app, since you’ve probably already established an account. Having the app also opens a lot of additional options regarding the usage of the product. The air purifier has a HEPA filter and expect to not need to replace it for about a year, depending on your air quality in your room or house. Another great feature, especially if you have young children and they’re fascinated by air currents and balloons. Hooray there’s a child lock so that they won’t be able to change your settings or the fan speed. We like their products so much that we have 2 tower fans and 2 humidifiers as well, and they all operate very quietly.
