It's a sad statement about the state of the world that it's surprising when a product functions as advertised. I bought this in what I'd thought was a desperate gamble. My old Tetra Whisper 20 pump had grown to make a loud buzzing, to the point that it was really annoying sitting in the same room with it. I'm pretty sure it wasn't quite that loud when I first bought it, but I don't think it was ever as quiet as this Mylivell pump. I've been using it for about six weeks now and it provides a good stream of air while making almost no noise. The suction cup wasn't strong enough to hold it to the side of the tank, but after being tormented for so long by a noisy pump I don't even care. The room is quiet again, and I can visit my aquarium in peace. (You will want to still rest the pump on the suction cup, though, so the unit isn't directly vibrating on a hard surface, which increases the noise.) I have a 20-gallon tank, so technically I should've gotten the bigger version of the pump. I have the 1-watt version advertised for up to 13 gallons. I think it makes enough bubbles, but I've included a video so you can decide for yourself. I should also note that I connected this pump to my existing tubing and air stone, so I can't comment on the quality of the ones included with this product.

Extremely quiet, adjustable, and effective. Caution - it only comes with one feeder hose even though there are two outputs and two aerators. I suppose you could cut the line into two - but for larger tanks that won’t leave you with much room to spread out the placement of the aerators. I was able to reuse the hose from my old pump that stopped working to avoid any issues.

It started louder than I wanted, (despite description n fake reviews 1q@touting how quiet it is) but kept getting louder n louder!? I finally broke down n got this- no big loss if it didn't work. As soon as I pulled it out, I laughed- it's TINY!! 😭 Looks like a toy manta ray. I immediately doubted it's abilities. Plugged it in and my heart sank, I thought it was broken- but it WAS actually on. Lol! I felt the little vibration in my hand, but had to turn off the ceiling fan to be able to discern if it had sound at all! That's great, but that made me doubt it was really gonna push any air. Welp, I was wrong again! PROS- Perfect bubbles, compact size, so brilliantly silent, convenient suction attachment to tank, good price. Only CON - cord is short with a large wall plug part.

SEE UPDATE BELOW, but first my original review: Apparently I was wrong about my understanding of the phrase "ultra silent" -- I incorrectly believed that it meant the product would not be loud enough to be distracting. Although it's not ridiculously loud, it is far from silent. I had to run a long hose to the far side of the room and put this thing under a bookshelf so my son would not complain about how loud it was. On the plus side, it's not ridiculously loud like the cheapest box air pump available. Overall I'm impressed by the amount of air from this tiny thing, but I can get a decent brand-name pump that makes the same noise and a lot more air. There are a lot of glowing reviews here so maybe mine is just odd. I noticed that turning it to different angles affected the volume, but I couldn't get it just right and mount it somewhere convenient. So it lives under the bookshelf and everyone is happy. UPDATE: The seller Mylivell contacted me immediately after my 3-star review was posted and offered to send me a replacement. Actually, they didn't offer to send one, they informed me that one was already on the way. The replacement was a different model (the original purchase was the black stingray shaped pump and the replacement was the more expensive oval white-with-black-center pump). It was silent...actually silent, and more powerful than the original pump. So I bumped this up to 4 stars for good customer service, but if you are buying the small ray-shaped pump you need to know that it's not silent. It's about as quiet as any decent air pump, but very small and easy to hide under/behind furniture. My original review was not meant to indicate the pump was not good, just that it was not as quiet as the description suggested. The replacement pump is a different model and is very quiet - the tiny bubbles in the aquarium are louder than the air pump. After a couple months I noticed it making a light hum but i moved it and it was silent again.

UPDATE: After receiving the pump, stone, and tubing I was originally not very happy with the stone. The pump is great, very quiet and puts out a considerable amount of air (10 gal tank). The stone however, just leaked out of the glue around the fitting. No air came out of the stone itself, so the air came out in rather turbulent large bubbles. I contacted the seller (Mylivell) and they responded to my email within an hour. They offered to send two stones as a replacement. The stones arrived today. I replaced the original stone with one of the replacements, and it looks great. The air is coming out of the stone in small bubbles just like it should. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase, and have updated to 5 stars. Original review is below. The pump works fine and is very quiet, but the stone is not right. All the air just comes out of the back as the glue that holds the fitting just leaks. 5 stars for the pump, 1 star for the stone.

I am very happy with this pump. It is extremely quiet and does a nice job. I have it set up with a small volcano and it looks great. It's not overly strong which is exactly what I want. The pump is small and fits on the side of my tank and doesn't look out of place.

Model 1025.... Excellent small water pump package. I am an experienced aquarist but this pump is not going into my aquarium tanks, not because there is anything wrong with it but based on it's size and GPH rating it will be used in my outdoor decorative water fountain in front of our house. This is an excellent water pump with many uses, the fact you get the whole kit with the hose and connectors is a bonus. Normally if you are looking for a decorative fountain pump at the local box stores you will pay the same price if not more for half the rating of this pumps GPH Very pleased with it's quality and performance

This is a twin outlet aquarium air pump. I have it powering two sponge filters and so far it is working well. The sound is very normal for an air pump and it is not too loud that you notice it. I have it placed on a soft padded surface which cushions the sound even further. The pump is compact and does not take up too much space. There are two safety valves included with long tubing. There is a slot for a screw placement if you want to hang this pump. There is an adjustable knob to increase / decrease the motor. Overall, a decent pump and no issues so far.

Quick Review: So this pump works pretty good. It has a dual outlets which I appreciate. The flow can be adjusted as well which is a nice touch. Comes with everything you need...air stones, tubing, and check valves. Provides plenty of aeration for a larger tank. It's fairly quiet but you will notice it a bit if your tank is close to where you sit. (not enough to bother you) Excellent value for your $$$ here.
