Yes! Just get it!
I’ve only had this a day now, and I am in absolute LOVE! This is exactly what I was hoping it would be!! When I was pregnant, my mom bought me a mama bonding carrier, that I soon found out is just too complicated with all the buckles and straps. Not to mention the back pain, and lack of security around my baby’s neck. It was just tooo much, especially as an upper limb amputee. When doing my research, I wanted to find something nice, simple & effective while being affordable. This is just that! It’s comfy for the baby & I, and fits just perfectly when adjusted to my body size, the fabric is super soft, it’s not to difficult to put on, it supports my baby exactly how I need it to with the adjustable straps, and it’s no so heavy on the back and shoulders. I’d say, just get it! So far, it’s been the best purchase I’ve made.

Comfy, easy to wear and pack in diaper bag
Where was this thing in 2020? Maybe it was always around and I just missed it, but WOW! LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS. There is slight learning curve. But once you get to using it and you do it a lot it's easy. So easy to put on. It's really comfortable and my baby really loved it. I actually pass it off to my sister and now she really loves it. So great purchase! And actually packs up really well and I put it in my diaper bag which was helpful.

CONVENIENT AND SO MUCH EASIER THAN ORIGINAL WRAP
I own original boba wrap and liked it but it was always a chore to get it on. I bought this one to give me the same feel as the wrap, but simplified. It took a little getting used to as far as buckling while holding baby, but once you get the hang of it, it’s so much more convenient than the wrap. I also like how easy it is to throw in a bag or the car. I will say, it was hard to use with a tiny newborn (7lbs), it was too big. Fabric is nice and breathable, and I live in a warmer climate. Color is neutral and goes with anything. Plus with so many expensive carriers on the market, this one was a great price. I definitely recommend!

It’s ok
I am a bit of a carrier aficionado as I have two kids (one toddler and one newborn) who refuse to be put down. So I am a bit picky. Most recently I bought Ktan active and the Boba bliss and since they seem to serve similar purposes let me compare the two. Pro: 1) Compared to wraps it could be easier to put on without dragging on the floor. Fyi you need to lift up your baby in the carrier to adjust the side straps or it is hard to cinch it. 2) I love the cinching on the shoulder wraps to ensure I can see her airway and it’s open and clear. 3) it’s breathable fabric great for even warm weather Cons: 1) The area where the wrap straps end and backpack straps begin is less comfy than the soft wraps such as the Ktan. It could dig into your back if you’re wearing tank tops. 2) It’s not as friendly carrier to start if you had a c section compared to no buckle wraps 3) it’s not set up the best way for wee little newborns. The seat should be adjusted to be a little narrow for their legs not be so widely spread apart. I haven’t had the wrap past the newborn phase but the previous reviews seem to say they can be less supportive for heavier babies. In this case overall I would recommend either soft wraps or structured wraps or a meh dai if you still want the hybrid that this carrier offers.

Amazing
I love this thing. My baby has lived in it when we are out and about and sleeps so soundly. I love it. I’ve used boba baby carriers the last 11 years. I love the cross between the wrap and the belt carrier. I don’t think you’ll regret your purchase. I didn’t notice any smell? But I wash absolutely everything before I use it. It is also incredibly easy to nurse baby in it and to take baby in and out of it without having to unclip everything. I started carrying him in it when he was a newborn and he’s now 6 months and 20 pounds. In the picture it shows you can stretch the straps over your shoulders….but I never do that because then I can’t move my arms to do what I need to do. I’m sharing a couple photos. Anyways, play around with it when you get it. I like having it tighter up around my actual waist. The higher the better when they aren’t nursing. Ideally want to be able to kiss baby’s head. Just remember as a newborn you can’t spread baby’s legs into the frog position, so make sure baby is in her natural position before placing them in it. My baby is 1.5-2.5 months in all these. I don’t have many other photos. But, I use it all the time. The Boba carrier with straps is my other favorite one and use that one now for really long walks now that he’s heavier. That is only because I feel his weight pull more in my shoulders with this wrap carrier. With the Boba carrier I have the weight more in my back and less so in my shoulders. But I still use this when I’m not on a long walk because it’s so darn comfy and easy to nurse and have a sleeping baby in.

Better than a wrap but not as snug
Update: I’ve changed my review three times. I equally like and dislike this carrier. It’s really hard to get baby perfect and it loses slack as you wear it. I’m constantly having to adjust it and tighten. The straps are also supposed to stay on your shoulders which doesn’t happen and they bunch up and move inward as you move messing with the fit. I also put it on apron style as I found that’s better. I don’t understand why they designed it to go on the other way. It pulls down the front of the waistband if you put it on how they advertise. ————————————————————- A babywearing Facebook group I was in recommended this and the ergobaby bliss carrier for newborns specifically. I got both to compare. I do have the boba wrap but couldn’t stand the putting on and off. Pros 1) I like how I can put a piece of fabric over baby’s head when he falls asleep. He feels more secure when I move around. 2) Wrap feel but easy to put on quickly with the buckles 3) Does fit a newborn. Started using it when baby was 4 weeks old around 11 lbs. 4) I love the slides on either side that can bunch the fabric up and out of baby’s airway. Cons 1) Stretches out over time as you wear it and doesn’t feel the snuggest. 2) Hard to tighten the straps especially the back one. I thought that buckle was a cool design but it doesn’t function the greatest. 3) Side small buckles feel cheap 4) Others had said they had to stop using the carrier when baby got bigger than 15 lbs which I can understand with my con #1. So you might not be using the carrier for a long time. 5) Wish there was more patterns

Baby had been sleeping peacfully and deeply in it from the moment we recieved it
I don't know what it is about this carrier, but we just received it today and the baby has been asleep in it almost the entire day, even wake up when I needed to feed her. But glad she's getting her sleep! The other carriers she would startle to noises or be uncomfortable and wake up Pros: *I like that there are buckles (I always found that the fabric slid out of the rings after awhile and therefore loosened) * the hybrid wrap/sling and carrier design is the most comfortable for me and the baby I've found. We've tried ergo baby carriers (best back support but bulky), light carriers (light as advertised but baby would cry when put in because was not the most comfortable for her), sling rings (loosened over time and put all the weight onto one shoulder killing my neck), sling carrier with buckle (didn't loosened like ring, but still neck pressure issue), wraps (crazy to put on and once the fabric rolls, it's over), wraps with preset fabric and buckles (baby like fabric but the wraps require an X design in the babies crotch like a rock climbing harness and she did not find that comfortable, would wake up crying until adjusted) *I love the sea mist green blue color *fabric is comfortable for me and her *with finessing you can carry baby in cradle hold *easy put baby in and take baby out *flexible movement allowimg you 2 hands! while keeping baby secure (traditional carriers are stiff and wraps and slings baby can slip out, so requiring you to use 1 hand to hold baby in place *hip supoort belt Cons: *which there was a mesh fabric option (sometimes her head dips or she turns it into fabric and I wish I didn't have to worry so much if the fabric was covering her nose and breathing *buckles are not easily adjustable with one hand (a parenting must, one-handed parenting) *pockets, I wish it was an automatic think for carriers to have a pocket somewhere *the shoulder things I could not figure out to stay on my shoulders to give me that support
