Bought this to replace the original rad in my 2016 Ram 1500 5.7L which lasted 101k miles before a leak started where the plastic meets metal. The new Autosaver88 rad was an exact fit and went in fairly straightforward. I have driven about 500 miles with the new rad and everything is working fine. My engine is running between 5-10 degrees F cooler than before. I recommend this product.

I purchased this replacement radiator about 6 weeks ago to replace the radiator on my 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7L V8. I have a pin hole leak on my old radiator, so wasnt in a hurry to replace it. Well its Oct. 21st now and figure I better get to it before the weather gets to cold. I finally opened the box the radiator came in to inspect it before I take the old one out. It all looks pretty good. Seems to be an exact replacement. But right off I see a plastic tab imbedded into the cardboard. The tab was crushed and snapped off. I was worried for a second but realized the tab is only for helping hold down the air cowl that goes above the radiators to help direct airflow through them. There are a number of tabs to hold it down, so missing one isnt going to hurt anything. I just wanted to post this part of the installation part first before I begin. I will update after installation. UPDATE: Its been a few days and FINALLY had time to replace it. It was indeed an exact replacement. I watched a few videos on YT to get an idea were to look for the bolts that would need to be removed. Read the comments. Always a good place to see peoples replies with helpful tips to get it done quicker. Like pulling the fan shroud out with the fan. Left plenty of room to work. Overall super pleased with this radiator. Have only done a single test drive but temps were exactly were they were with the old radiator. Granted its only 55 degrees out. But Id suspect it would preform just as well in summer. I liked that I didnt have to go buy anything extra. I did prior to replacing it buy some extra push retainer clips. I had a need for a few and seeing how at least one always breaks, wanted em here and ready. Took the parts off the old one that are required (mounting rubbers). The trans cooler fit exactly as it should. Now its just a longevity / quality thing. It should last as long as the old one but only time will tell. At this moment this is a 5 star item. Only rated it 4 do to the busted tab. A metal washer or cover of it would have saved it. Small gripe but still.
