Burley COHO XC Single-Wheel Off-Road Cargo Bike Trailer with Coil-Spring Suspension & Quick-Release Hitch Connection

Great gear. Spendy but worth it. 1st, it's light. At 21 lbs it's at least 10 lbs lighter than other suspended single wheels. I live in the mountains (Siskiyous) so it matters. 2nd, it rides great. Even fully loaded. 3rd, great design. Everything is quick disconnect with skewers. Also, quality materials and fabrication.

I LOVE this Burley COHO XC Trailer and have been getting my bike setup as well as accumulating camping gear for 2026 summer bikepacking. So far I've taken it out a few times and it tracks as if it isn't even there. Much better than the 2 wheel Schwinn Trailer I had previously. Thank You Burley for making the COHO XC TRAILER!

Burley does not ship this product with all the parts necessary to use it. Out of what I assume is cost cutting measures, they do not ship this product with the axle attachments. Any decent company would include these items with the product to fit several different bikes. I was astonished they were so greedy as to make it a separate purchase and not inform the customer. Got the trailer and now it's just sitting unused until I can find the necessary spare parts to fix it myself. It's a shame this company chose to be so cheap. Does not bode well for the product.

Update: I made it into a solar trailer This trailer feels like it will last a long time. Time will tell. Had it for almost 1 year now. PROs Built strong. Lots of room for camping gear. Connects/disconnects to/from the bike fast Feels best over 15 mph unlike what they recommend. Then again I'm a e-biker and under 15 feels slow. Best on earth that I know of. Great with weight I have 3 ebike batteries and all my camping gear in it. CONs Price. This is the highest cost trailer I could find. Noise. The back wheel cover pins make too much noise. So I used Verco to secure them. Main handle is made of a lot of plastic

I’m only giving this 2 stars because of the poor workmanship of the yoke and the soldered brackets on the trailer. The top bracket on the trailer was soldered at a down angle, preventing the yoke from going in between to connect. So basically I can’t use it. I got this on Cyber Monday in November and never thought this would be an issue. I’m extremely disappointed in this company from the non-standard sizes of their nutted axles to this trailer’s manufacturing defect. At this price point, there should be better quality control and inspection! Waiting to hear back from the manufacturer via their website for a solution.

I’m gonna return the item through Amazon yeah they don’t include the attachment that connects to your bike which is another $65. The whole attachment system is too heavy and over engineered. The basket is a nice design again. The rear mud flap is over engineered and way too heavy. The trailer is designed that kind of put together pretty quickly but machining in the welding isn’t the best so it is a booger, even for somebody that’s handy. This is the second bike trailer I bought from Burleigh and unfortunately, my last one 10 years ago I had similar problems. I don’t know why they can’t figure it out.

Nothing from burley will work on Ebike!! A ball hitch adapter for 12mm or 15mm would be smart to make! Useless trailer for ebikes!

J'avais beaucoup d'espoir pour cette remorque mais comme d'autres je n'ai pas réussi à faire la meilleure installation et à comprendre pourquoi ça tanguait si fort par surprise au point de me faire prendre le champs et de souffrir de la hanche pendant six jours avec des anti douleur. J'ai 63 ans et je répare toujours tout mais la je manque de temps pour le retour. J'ai deux autos, deux motos et deux vélos et je n'ai jamais été au garage de ma vie; avant YouTube ont avait des livres. Je connais plusieurs raisons pour lesquelles un deux roues peut tanguer et j'ai tout vérifié sans trouver. Le teste avec 10kg dans la remorque sur 48 km de distance c'était excellent. Je regardais même dans mon miroir s'il était encore là et même dans les pistes hors routes; j'étais très heureux a ce moment là. Le lendemain j'ai ajouté un peu moins de 10kg et c'était très difficile de contrôler le vélo. J'ai fait 4 tests de 2 km avec la peur au ventre. J'ai déplacé le poids dans la remorque, changé la roue pour une autre neuve, enlever 2 ou 3 kilos. Une deuxième fois sur la piste cyclable je pensais que j'allais mourir. C'est la fin et le retour à l'expéditeur. Voir photos pour l'adaptateur 6.3mm en acier avec stabilisateur en aluminium pour garder stable le parallélisme. Je ne crois pas qu'il soit possible de faire mieux.
