The Leaf Razor Grip Sleeve, Black - Silicone Razor Handle Grip

For context, I'm a Transgender woman who has been on HRT for 10 years and had Laser hair removal on my face, so my facial hair is thinner than it was (Extremely coarse before), but still quite coarse compared to cis women. I shave every other day on my face and legs, and shave my face against the grain, so I NEED a good razor that I can use fresh razors with very frequently. Pros: Full length and weighty handle, feels very premium! Swapping out razors is fairly easy for someone without any disability or dexterity issues and the ability to customize how many razors you want is really outstanding. You can even snap typical razors in half to use, so you could really use a fresh razor every time for a fraction of the cost of a cartridge. The rotation of the head of the razor is very smooth, has a little bit of force behind it, but seems to be tuned very precisely to not 'snap back' into place with any risk of nicks or cuts. For someone who is NOT a fan of safety razors because they don't have that rotating action of a cartridge disposable razor, This really is the best of both worlds, which makes it excellent for shaving faces, legs, arms, body, etc. Cons: The price is a bit steep, but to be honest it's worth the price if you shave frequently. There isn't much grip at all on the handle, so the silicone grip is pretty much required for me. The only grip without the silicone addon is some small divets on the underside of the handle which frankly isn't enough. The silicone grip eliminates this issue entirely though. actual shaving face of the razor (The part above where the sharp edges of the razors are) is a bit larger than most razors, making shaving under the nose a bit more difficult, and I don't have a particularly large nose. It took a few practice tries to successfully shave under my nose, and found it was easiest to do very very small short strokes while bending my nose to one side.

The grip is a must-have for the Leaf razor. It fits perfectly, improves control, and makes the handle feel much more secure — especially when your hands are wet. The silicone texture adds comfort without being bulky, and it really makes shaving smoother and easier. If you own a Leaf razor, this is absolutely worth adding to it.

This item is quite expensive but I’m glad I got it. A nice fresh clean razor every time you want it is awesome and you’re not cluttering a landfill with plastic debris. Just be careful if you get the double sided blades that you snap in half as the sharp corners protrude a bit and can be scratchy.

I liked the color but it was very difficult to put on because it was too narrow....needed to be wider and thicker grip.

As someone who shaves their bald head regularly, I can confidently say that the Leaf Shave razor is a game-changer. Why this isn’t included with the Leaf razor when you order it I’ll never know. If you plan on using your razor in the shower, it is nearly unusable without this because it is SO slippery. I thought I made a mistake purchasing the razor at first. I was avoiding using it. Finally I had an “ah-ha” moment and realized I could add this to the handle. Ever since it came, my attitude towards the razor has taken a 360 and now I love it. There’s still a learning curve to using it since I was previously using Venus - but this grip helped immensely.

I get that the leaf razor is a premium product that is intended to last many years. I think this grip should 100% ship with the razor with the option of replacing it after it gets nasty. Really though, the razor is awkward and difficult to use in the shower—where I shave. I was worried I had made an expensive mistake transitioning to Leaf. This sleeve made all the difference and now my shaving experience is quite elevated for switching from disposable cartridges. Application was easy with some soap. It took maybe a minute. I feel like this is overpriced, but whatever... It makes a huge difference.

As soon as I received my Leaf razor I quickly installed the handle grip to it. The packaging was intact however there was no instruction or picture to properly ensure the grip was installed correctly. I have only used the razor with the grip one time over the span of 30 minutes and already the bottom part of the grip has ripped. I have tried readjusting it to a better position however it is unclear if the grip is specifically designed to fit this handle. The grip is very stretched over the lower part of the handle which is thicker and therefore most likely led to it's ripping. Disappointed that the grip is already falling apart given that I've only owned it for a short period of time and have barely used it.

You want to save money and feel good about environement well get one of these. Might seem pricey for a razor, but the blades is so cheap after one year your saving so much money if you shave a lot money and its good for the planet
