Great bit of kit. My son loves it. It packs away into a neat box. The box and the lid are both part of the track, which is a nice space saver. It's well built, and the track goes together nice and easily. Great value for money. Lots of different colours, which my son likes the look of. Functionality-wise it's great as you can use it with other Thomas tracks, and there are lots of different configurations you can use. DOES NOT include a train, this is an expansion kit (or buy a train separately). My son has a few different tracks which are much smaller but included trains.

This Thomas & Friends track set is a fantastic way to introduce young children to the world of trains and imaginative play. The sturdy track pieces are easy for little hands to connect, and the included engines are well-made and durable. The set encourages creativity as children build their own tracks and send their favorite engines on adventures across Sodor. It's a great way to spark their imagination and develop fine motor skills. While it's a bit pricey, the quality and hours of fun it provides make it a worthwhile investment for any Thomas fan.

Fabulous train track grandson plays with it for hours on end great with powered tohmas trains and non powered ones also can make different style tracks out of it thank you

Listen, I bought this “Thomas & Friends Toy Train Tracks Set, Connect & Build Bucket, 34-Piece Expansion Pack” thinking it would just be a cute little add-on for my kid’s train set. Next thing I know, my child has engineered a rail system that would make Amtrak jealous. We’re talking loops under the couch, switchbacks through the hallway, and a rail bridge over my dog. The best part? It actually works great on its own, too. I tried to sneak one of the track layouts onto my desk just to see if it would hold up solo. Spoiler: it does. Now I’m 34 years old, holding a toy train in my hand, whispering “choo choo” while my kid yells at me for derailing Gordon. Pieces snap together easily (unless you step on them—then they snap you). The bucket is solid, and it doubles as a drum when the tracks inevitably get dumped all over the floor at 6 a.m. In summary: excellent expansion, excellent standalone, and excellent way to discover that my child is a better civil engineer than I’ll ever be. Would buy again—unless the HOA forces us to stop expanding the “Thomas Metro Rail” that currently occupies 40% of my house.
