What a great laptop this is. I finally got rid of my desk-top computer and decided for a laptop instead for the easy of being able to take it with me when I travel. For the money, this Lenovo is absolutely an amazing deal! It's quiet, fast, great size, monitor is crisp, easy to hook up to a larger monitor and other accessories. What can I say...I'm a happy camper!!

For starters, I'd like to make it clear, this computer was excellent, especially for the price. I'm very knowledgeable about computers so I know what to look for when shopping for them. I had only one problem which is why I didn't give 5 stars and that was it had a wifi connection glitch after a few weeks of owning it. While it was at idle or even while browsing or watching a Netflix app, it kept losing the wifi connection intermittently and it was a crap shot with how soon it would reconnect. Other than that it was great.

I recently purchased the HP 2023 Newest 14 Laptop, and I must say, it’s a fantastic deal for the price. At just $379.00, marked down from $498.88, the value you get is quite impressive. The laptop is equipped with a 14" FHD display that offers clear and vibrant visuals, which is a pleasure for both work and watching videos. The performance is robust, courtesy of the AMD Ryzen 3 processor that clocks up to 3.5GHz, paired with a substantial 16GB of RAM. This combination ensures smooth multitasking and efficient handling of everyday tasks. Moreover, the 1TB SSD is a standout feature at this price point, providing ample storage with speed that outpaces traditional hard drives significantly. Windows 11 runs smoothly on this machine, enhancing the user experience with its latest features and intuitive interface. The inclusion of an anti-glare coating on the display is a thoughtful touch, reducing eye strain during long usage sessions. My productivity has definitely seen an uptick due to the laptop's fast charge capability and the long battery life, which HP claims can last up to 10 hours. It's been quite reliable during my use, though I’ve yet to test the full extent of this claim. On the downside, the laptop weighs in at 3.2 lbs, which is slightly heavier than some of its ultra-lightweight competitors. However, this is a minor quibble considering the overall package. In conclusion, this HP laptop meets and exceeds my expectations in terms of hardware and performance. It's an excellent choice for both productivity and entertainment purposes, offering features that are often found in more expensive models. Therefore, I rate this laptop a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars. If you're in the market for a cost-effective, capable laptop, this HP model should be at the top of your list.

Work great

I find the laptop very small and the keyboard equally small. Consequently the screen is very small and the fonts not readable. It should be noted the cost should have given me a hint. Once I put a large display on the device there is only one USB port available, I require a minimum of two. It is very "Microsoft" which is like having someone always asking for money from you at every turn. So I am not happy with this, but will see how long it lasts, given Microsoft destroyed my last laptop with their unwanted and not authorized updates. A last note, the laptop has a limited number of USB ports and has no CD/DVD. Meaning everything must be downloaded and you can not burn a copy. Be advised that it is advertised as "1 TB SSD". The Laptop does not have an SSD, that was a lie. It has a Timetec 35TTQNM2SATA-1TB Standard SATA Disk Drive. Please note that it the WIN11 S mode is significantly less friendly than Win10 and has made adding devices very difficult. I should note that the Laptop will occasionally not access files and must be restarted. Also the heat vent is on the top of the keyboard and is easily covered thus not allowing the Laptop to cool. UPDATE 6.3.2025: This was purchase in Oct 2023. I do not use the keyboard but have it hooked to a 32 inch display and Logi keyboard. What I am running into now is it get hung on start up and will not power up all the way. I think I may have to replace the unit. The On/Off button is extremely small and I am thinking it dows not always seem to work. Having used the Laptop a bit, It is extremely slow in accessing files. It becomes very noticable because while this is occurring everything freezes, as indicated by the cursor/mouse freezing until the task is complete. I have also encountered that the files will not open and the Laptop must be Restarted. The ON/OFF button is extremely small, this will be the first item to break thus allowing you to through away a working laptop early. Just an update: Please note the number of USB ports is limited, and I found when using an external drive there is no room for anything more. I have also found that the the computer locks the user out when it accesses my external drives. When I seek the drives being accessed, you might as well get a coffee because all keyboard or mouse inputs are ignored. This may last from several minutes to as much as 10 to 15 minutes.

I've used HP computers for quite some time and am always happy. My previous HP laptop was old and had it not died, I'd still be using it. I needed a computer fast for work. HP is always my go-to and when I saw this and it's price, I scooped it up. Set up was a bit longer than normal but so far, runs phenomenally and suits my needs perfectly! I would recommend this laptop to anyone for price, specs and performance. After a month I'll give an update on my experience with this HP Notebook. Don't hesitate. If you need one, get this one.

Not the best performing laptop, a bit slow when you use it over time. Screen quality is so so. I am sure there are are better options out there.

بعد تجربة ثلاث ايام اللاب خفيف وعملي بس فيه بعض العيوب اولها ان المراوح موجوده تحت اللاب ولي في الجنب مما يسبب ارتفاع في الحرارة والشئ الثاني البطاريه لا تدوم ل 11 ساعه كما هو مكتوب واللاب 16 رام متاح لك 13.9 رام في الاخير هذي تجربتي بس اللاب بشكل عام عملي

البطاريه لاتعمل وعملت طلب ارجاع من فتره ولم يتم الاستجابه والمندوب لو يأتي لاستلامه من شركة الشحن وذهبت لشركة الشحن وقالو لايوجد بوليصة للارجاع وللعلم أنا تواصلت مع شركة أمازون وبعتو صوره إرجاع ولم يأتي مندوب الشحن تبع ارامكس لاستلام اللاب توب
