you could melt in microwave although it is usually better to melt gradually in a pan as not to burn and to heat evenly although if you wish to use micorwave this is fine. Thank you for your message.

Yes absolutely. You can even mould it and twist it as its cooling to make things - I made a cocktail glass out of my melting isomalt and then made ice crystals and cubes to go into the glass later, dipped the edge in granulated sugar and stuck an umbrella into the glass and used it as a decoration for an 18th Birthday cake. Have fun !

brilliant stuff

gosh this stuff is amazing, does not burn like sugar would, you can do a lot with it carefully as being a sugar base it gets very very hot I made wings for the dragon on my grandsons his birthday cake.if you don't like your finished project just pop it in your microwave for a couple of mins depending on how much you have in the bowl and reset it you can even use a blowtorch a small one of course on it if you want to move it around

Did exactly what I wanted

This stuff is great! Much easier to work with than sugar. I made the flames in the photo for my son’s birthday cake and they looked great.

You need to do some googling if you want to use it for sugar work.

Not used it yet, but from what I've read online, it seems much user-friendly than sugar. My only criticism so far is that there's no instructions for how it can be used. You have to do a lot of googling if you want to use it for sugar work.

I used this product to do some sugarcraft and it do the job perfectly . The only downside is why to put this isomalt in a massive tub half full ..
