I finally had an opportunity to buy it and assemble it, and I could not have been happier. Rather than starting with the lighter center focal point, I started with the outer sections. Trust me, there are plenty of colors in this design to ease the assembly process. True, there’s a lot of brown, gears, and clocks, but by breaking it down into small sections, you can finally get sections that attach to other sections. By studying the artwork, on the box top or the included poster, you can identify areas to tackle first. The balloons in the lower right corner, the blue mechanism case in the lower left corner, or the red time traveler dial in the upper section are great starting points. I finished the puzzle with the interior section of hot air balloons and the “Voyages Extraordinaires” banner, saving the easiest part for last. I did take some photos of my work in progress but with the darker indoor lighting, the puzzle appears darker than it is. The piece cut is random/irregular, the fit is good, the puzzle dust is minimal, the challenge factor is in the medium range. As an added little bonus, there are scattered green letters that can be unscrambled to create the two words “Time Traveler”. This company is wonderful and very responsive to any issues that you may have, but I have never had a problem with any of their puzzles. I would recommend any of their puzzles for any puzzler, although this puzzle will take a beginner a bit longer at first. I'm glad I tried it.Puzzle pieces were good size, locked together well, sturdy, and seemed to be just the right thickness.Although some might say the picture looks a bit dark, it really isn't. Looking on line, I had also felt it was too dark. But after reading another review, I decided to try it. I'm glad I did. It is NOT as dark as you might think. The colors are fun and the "pictures inside of the whole picture" are interesting. I had doubts since I'm not a big "Steampunk" fan...but I guess I really am since I found it so enjoyable.A challenging puzzle but well worth it!Just wish I could find more of this brand with such great pictures. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quirky puzzle you'll enjoy if not for the picture, but for the challenge *by T***O on Reviewed in the United States on January 25, 2018* This was a very tough puzzle. Maybe others wouldn't find it so, but it took us a week to complete when we normally finish puzzles in days. The puzzle has so many small objects, and even has identical shaped pieces that fit nicely and even look like they match where they do not belong that I was stumped about pieces for days until I realized that it was not the right piece, though it fit perfectly. The backgrounds were the most helpful in identifying where pieces went, but the fine differences in the backgrounds across much of the puzzle, made this approach a challenge as well.
