Review: Missing Features and Poor Performance on New Xiaomi Camera - I already own two IMILAB cameras, and I tried this one. To my surprise, this version now pushes a paid subscription through the Mi Home app — something that was never required with my previous cameras. The “talk through phone” feature barely works, as the camera often freezes and the internal speaker fails most of the time. On top of that, this model does not includes the baby cry detection function, which was one of the key reasons I chose Xiaomi in the past. Overall, very disappointing experience.
