I originally bought these after coming off a binder from abdominoplasty and having had a thigh lift. That was three years ago and I still wear these as my everyday underwear. Very comfortable. Sizes are true. Cost the same as fancy tiny panties but energizes my muscles and gives support without being suffocating. They will unravel after many washings. Handle them like you would your bras and stockings; gentle wash and air dry to get them to last. If you don’t feel they don much for you then go down a size. But let’s face it, no $25 garment is going to displace fat. The goal should be to not jiggle and smooth out the bumps. These do that and I reorder twice a year.

Really comfortable
Ugh. Shape wear. Our blessing and our curse. The way I see it is you can look tucked in and be miserable, or you can be tucked in and be comfortable enough you forget you’re wearing shape wear. If you want to be comfortable, grab this thing. Now I will note a few things:1. You might experience the upper band rolling down a little. I wore a dress that had extra material covering this area but if you’re wearing a skin tight dress you might want to consider tucking the top of this into your bra to help it stay put.2. The tummy control wasn’t as *controlling* as I would have liked personally.. but I do have a tummy, she’s there, I ate a lot at thanksgiving, I like cookies, no shame about it. Might as well let my tummy make her debut. I will say I felt a lot more comfortable and smoothed out with this shape wear than I would have if I just wore regular underwear under my dress.3. The butt. This wasn’t a huge huge issue, but there’s almost a band that wraps around the hips and to the top part of the butt area and I kind of wish it was structured differently. It’s not bad and I think it was only noticeable to me because I was inspecting everything in the mirror. I just wish this enhanced the butt area a bit more verses having material secured over the tailbone area that might make someone’s butt look a little flatter than it might be otherwise. Not a huge issue though just an area for opportunity if this is redesigned.4. The thighs. Yes. Yes. Yes.Have you ever opened a container of biscuits and they do that thing where they puff out the sides? That’s almost always what happens with my thighs and shape wear. These shorts blew my mind though. I had ZERO bulging around the thighs, no squeezing or discomfort. I was shocked and really really excited. It was a big deal.Overall you need to buy these, they’ll get the job done and honestly they’re comfortable enough to wear for hours with no issues. Oh and they have a hole so your lady bits can breathe. Woot!

It helps you clothes fit smoothly and Dont go up a size. It stretches.
It is a good quality. Good material and it is truly high wasit. I comes up all the way uder my breast. The control is not bad. I strongly recommed that you do NOT GO UP A SIZE like I did. You need a 2xx if you weight 200 lbs and is 5' 7". It will fit just right without strangling you. It will feel tight at first, but will soon stretch and be comfortable. Buy the same size as your underwear (panties). You want it to hold you in.... My one disappontment is that they need to have a wider and better elelastic at he waist to stop it from rolling down. At first it held up, but occassionally it rolls downTo save a lot of time pulling it up when I'm in a rush at work with only a few minutes to spare I went a head and CUT a BIG HOLE in the crotch, so that I dont have to worry about pulling it down. I recommend it.I like it and will buy a smaller size.

They’re comfortable and do what they’re intended to do but
So I bought these cause I have some friends that love their bras and I thought why not try their shape-wearWell at first they were amazing a total 5 star and do what they’re intended to do. The fit is very comfortable and helps keep in my stomach after 3 pregnancies and really bad D.R. They’re breathable and keep the thigh rub away. Then the downfall happed, after 2 washings they started unraveling at the seam where it’s been folded over and sewn down by the hips. I went ahead and washed again cause they needed to be washed thinking it was just extra fabric and it would end once it reached the stitching.Nope. It has completely come undone and now I’ll have to sew it back together; which thankfully I have the capability to do it’s just frustrating I’m going to have to.I would still recommend these to anyone just be aware that they may come undone.

Don't waste your money
Piece of crap. Completely unraveled after one wash, and yes, I wash my undergarments in a laundry bag.

Ok for single use?
Wore these one time so far. They are comfortable and easy to slide on. They smoothed bulges but didn’t reduce them because the compression wasn’t that much. That could be why they were comfortable. I wear size 8/medium bottoms so I ordered a medium. I really don’t know how you’d use the opening at the bottom without a funnel or something. I just pulled them down and up again after using the loo, but it was easy enough to do so with my dress. The seam started coming apart after the first wash, as pictured. I would probably look for another brand with better quality reviews next time.

This is the one for moms!
Tried 4 different shorts for postpartum / c section support - including fancy compression ones made for postpartum - and these are the best ones! So comfortable and has way better tummy control and support than the other ones, even though this was the only one without boning. Stays up great, prevents chafing without being too tight on thighs, and really sucks in my mom pooch even way down low by my c section shelf. Soft and breathable. Fits as expected. The oooonly wierd thing is they flatten my top butt a bit because the tight part goes so low, but that is kinda necessary to have it low enough in the front to smooth out the c section area, and it's not too flattening anyway. Let's hope they hold up!
