Purchased this set and another playmags set with more cars as a Christmas gift for my 6, 4, and 2 year old. I was very skeptical because of the well-known "fake" reviews for a free book at that time. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The kids love them and play with them daily. We have played with the more well known magnatiles at friends' houses and could not tell a noticeable difference in magnet strength (although it was not a side by side comparison since we don't personally own any.) The 4 year old figured out how create large structures immediately and the 6 and 2 year old quickly caught on. My 2 yr old has no problem building multiple story structures as some other reviewers have had problems with. They play with them daily and they have held up well despite us sometimes accidentally stepping on them. I have only noticed one tile that suffered from a small splinter as a result of an adult stepping on it, though it is still functional and safe. This set is no longer available and I noticed that one of our sets had the rivets in the corners and the other did not. I am not sure which product modification is more recent and currently available. Great deal and affordable alternative to the other guy.

I bought a large quantity of Magna-Tiles to have on hand for grandkids and paid $118 on Amazon. This set lacked the window tiles, so I ordered PLAYMAGS to use with the others. In my side by side comparison, I think PLAYMAGS are superior. I looked at YouTube videos of PICASSO and MAGNA-TILES and read product reviews of both and then realized my grands were using PLAYMAGS at home. Both tiles have riveted corners and interior supports to prevent crushing/cracking. A few differences I noted: PLAYMAGS have slightly squarer corners on the largest tiles; the "car" has a hook and loop to be able to make a train; and the supports within the tiles are differently patterned. Don't spend anymore of your precious time debating, just BUY PLAYMAGS.

Perfect toy. Children play for hours building and re-building different things. Great toy for encouraging imagination and hand and eye coordination as they have to hold certain pieces until they get other pieces in place. Hours of fun. My two year old grandson mimicks his older cousins and has learned quite a bit by playing with them. They are 4 and 6 years old. A perfect gift for children of all ages.

My grandkids absolutely love these. This is an add on to a previous purchase so we have enough to build lots of towers and cars. This is a different brand than my initial purchase. The Magnets are bigger & stronger. Hopefully this will result in fewer towers falling (except when they knock them down on purpose). I don't know how many were in my initial purchase, but I bought 2 more sets. I highly recommend these for kids 2 to ?. My almost 6 year old grandchild loves them and I have fun playing with them.

I was sure for the price these tiles would not meet the same quality of magna tiles, but I was wrong. These are amazing! The quality exceeds my expectations. My son was thrilled to get these in the mail – it was a beloved toy at his after school program. I'm trying to incorporate things into our new Shelter in Place life that he had pre-COVID.

These are about our 5th purchase of playmags model magnets, and they continue to delight our kiddo. Super strong, great magnetic hold, very durable. And much cheaper than magnatile counterparts so we can get enough to make bigger projects. Also love the vibrant colors. Recommend!

These have been a hit with our 2-year old son! As other reviews mentioned, sometimes the magnets won't allow user to put them at the very edge, but they've provided hours of play. The bright colors and various shapes offer many different uses and options for building. I would like to see a larger base tile included in the set, but overall this has been a sturdy, quality product that enhances imagination.

I was surprised that something so simple was so popular with my kids, but they didn't put them down for the first week after they got them. It's great that my 2-3 year olds can build with these so easily, and it's really cool to see some of the stuff they come up with. The biggest problem is that my 2 year old loves to smash the things my 3 year old creates, but I guess that still creates some extra fun for my 2 year old. We've given these as gifts a couple of times and will definitely keep them in mind for the future since they've been very well received when gifted.

fantastic! and for a great price too, though shopping is a little pricy from US to SG! other than that, the quality of the tiles is great.. i already have one playmags set, so i got this to supplement what i already had (kiddo was always looking for more pieces!)
