An interesting book but let down by poor translation to English.

Do not buy. Lots of technical and grammatical errors.
Really poorly written book. Badly translated from Spanish, and with some fundamental errors (pun intended). If you know absolutely nothing about aerospace engineering, it will give you a extremely basic look at AE. But when you have moved on, you will then notice the numerous errors with this book. I wouldn't recommend to anyone really.

Poor translation
Received promptly, unfortunately a page was loose so returned. Very poor translation into English and this lets the book down.

This is an excellent introductory text, and with the Creative Commons licensing it is very helpful for my students. The book covers all of the basic topics with clear text and solid illustrations. The prime focus of the book is actually aeronautical engineering rather than aerospace engineering but it does cover a segment of aerospace topics. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants the fundamentals of aircraft in a clear and concise text without extensive math, although this book does have mathematical examples in some applicable chapters, ranging from basic algebra to basic calculus. It covers a wide area of aeronautical topics from basic design, structure, and propulsion of aircraft through air navigation and airport and air transportation systems. It also provides a hefty dose of pure aerodynamics. The good thing is that you can preview the entire book on the author's website, found on the back cover of the book, and determine if this is the right book for you as an individual reader or as an aeronautical instructor.

Firstly, great book off the bat. However there are some bad things, but overall I would always get the book. Firstly, I can assume that the author did English as a second language, as there are a few spelling choices that I didn’t recognise. Like equator was ecuador. Then there are a few spots where I think there was supposed to be a comma, but not entirely sure. And the biggest issue I have, is that the diagrams (a few of them) are extremely vague. Look at the left page. I have to stare for a few seconds to grasp the image.

Absolutely wonderful introduction to Aerospace Engineering, regardless that it does not include all that much information about spacecraft. I will be taking it with me into college and use it as a base for my career.

Great book. The only downside is that it arrived with a slightly damaged cover.
