But disappointing as a christmas present as it looked in places that the bowls were not well finished. This would be an ok non gift if it were priced at a lower rate since it isn't a premium product. Its too expensive for what it is but it is a fun game and this should allow you at least to get into the game of boules. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent value *by G***W on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 July 2011* Eight boules, wooden jack and tape measure all in a strong canvas bag. Quality is excellent as is the value. Boules are marked in pairs by different lines running around them making identification easy. The boules are surprisingly heavy and so are unlikely to be thrown where they are not intended. I had previously used plastic ones filled with water when playing with the grandchildren but these are miles ahead in quality. Educationally they must be good for hand & eye coordination as well as turn taking, measuring, playing together. And that goes for us oldies too. Would recommend them to anyone. Good value for money. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars This was bought as a gift *by J***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 December 2013* Sadly the package arrived only wrapped in a plastic bag with no support or packaging at all. The plastic cradle inside the bag which holds the boules in place was very broken. Too damaged to be given as a gift I intended it for. I contacted the seller who said that the cradle was not part of the set but for transit purposes only. I disagreed with this as we have a set which came from Amazon too, arriving totally intact. The plastic inner does make it easier to pack the set up and also makes the set look better especially as it was for a gift. Had the cradle been only for transit then it probably would have been made of cardboard or other packaging material to be discarded.
