This is a review of the organic Gunpowder Green variety. The tea is great. The leaves are rolled in attractive balls that release as water hits them (explaining the gunpowder name). I enjoy this either hot (steeped for about a minute with 180 degree water), where I frequently have enough flavor left for a second steeping, or as a cold brew tea. You can find lots of recipes online, but this makes an almost perfect replica of the Itoen brand iced bottled teas. Very refreshing and crisp on a hot summer day!

I never knew Green Tea could taste so delicious! I have many allergies to many foods and searched for a Tea that didn’t cause discomfort and allergy issues! This one was everything I needed! Thank you for an amazing product!

The tea produced is very good with a great taste. However, I make my tea in a French press and after the leaves sits for a few hours, it turns slimy and sticky. Very odd, no other tea brand I’ve ever used leaves such a residue! Makes me wonder what is on this tea to leave such a residue. I will not use this tea ever for this reason.
