Luxury Vintage Leather Ornate Design Flip Case for iPhone 5s iPhone 5, Coffee (Brown)

I have never felt a need to comment on the way the product was packaged but this is just beautiful. The box the case comes in is luxurious. I am not sure how else to describe it. It just looks expensive.The case also looks and feels like much more than the $20 I paid for it. The quality is top notch. The detailing is great.The only reason I am taking one star off is because I am still not sure about the flap design. It makes charging the phone with the cover closed impossible. I love the case so I am going to deal with it but there has to be a better way. Maybe make a hole in the leather hinge for the cable or move the hinge to the top instead of the bottom.Whatever the case may be, I highly recommend the case.

When I got this I was impressed by the quality of the leather and the sturdiness of the product. It not only looks good but it feels good in your hand.I think the price was great and that if you want something that has a custom look and feel this one is for you.

I thought that what I was getting was high-quality leather. Instead, this thing is made from cheap materials somewhere in China. I had a similar design for my iPhone 4S and it was made of real leather, could accept a charging cable while closed and the clasp stayed shut after many months of hard use. Not this poor piece of workmanship! It is going back to Amazon tomorrow!

The good: The fit is very snug. I would say almost too snug. Removing the phone is a bit tricky. No part of the case interferes with the screen or function of the phone. I am able to access buttons and the camera is unobstructed.The bad: There is no opening in the bottom of the case to allow the charging cable to plug in when the case is closed. The clip on the cover works by friction. As the case is used and the leather becomes more supple the closing mechanism becomes less effective. Additionally, it often hits the button on the top of the phone and causes it to go into hard reset mode.Overall: Knowing what I know now I would not have purchased this phone case, especially not for the approximate $20 that I had paid. However, it isn't bad enough for me to return it nor to replace it. The quality of the leather seems pretty good and has not started to show any signs of wear since I purchased it a couple of weeks ago.

Quality leather and well constructed.Cool designWhat I didn't like:Can't charge phone with cover closed.the cover has a "lip tab" at the top to keep the cover closed when you are not using the iphone. I have noticed after opening and closing the lid frequently, it does not want to stay closed very tight.

I've purchased a half-dozen of these cases over the years. This one is holding up much better and looks professional. My only complaint is that I can't use my docking port without taking the phone out of the case. I assume they're worried that if the power connector is exposed, the leather hinge won't hold up. Perhaps they're right.

The quality of this product continues to surprise me. The leather construction add sa great deal of appeal while offering good protection. The box the item delivered in is quite a nice presentation. Highly detailed and very impressive old leather bound book like. . It makes a great gift for somebody you like.

Not even close to the same color as shown on website. Can't charge the phone without the cover totally open.
