they will work fine, until you spill something on the rug and when you try to remove the pads they do not come off the rug, I was able to pull it from the floor, but they stuck to the rug, and when I tried to pull them off they tore the rug, they will not come off, so I guess I will have to try to wash the rug with the sticky pad on. so the description says reusable, but they are not reusable.

Maybe my rug is the problem, but I thought for sure nothing would budge with these and I was kind of on the fence about them because I was afraid they'd leave a sticky residue on the rug/floor, but they only lasted about 2 weeks before the rug started sliding again

Very sticky hold carpet in place, hard to peel backing though.
