I trace out my sewing patterns then use these envelopes to store my copies keeping the original whole. I've never had a clasp break and the construction is solid. I've been doing this for years so some envelopes are old but still great. Can also hold up to my puppy chewing a corner. Just the right size, excellent price and they fulfill all my needs. I have plenty of room on the back where I write notes from my project like changes I've made and the year I made the dress, what fabric I used and from where etc. I glue stick then tape the edges of my image of what's inside. These are a must have because when my daughter gets a compliment on something I've made her co workers can order one from me and I still have the original in tact so I can easily make a variety of sizes and it's far easier to grade for sizing. Nice and thick so even a sharpie won't bleed through it and they hold a lot.
