Very happy with this buy. The lamp is recharchable so can be placed anywhere and comes with the cord. It is a touch lamp and has 3 dimmable levels to the warm white light and also has the function of colour light!.Very easy to set up and set the alarm. Best function is the sunrise simulation. Wakes you up at the set time with natural sounds and the warm white light will turn on half an hour before the alarm goes on.My children also love the multi colour light.

I have to say, this light is great. Don't get me wrong it doesn't shout out quality but - it's £30! The real fancy Phillips ones are in the hundreds of pound bracket so I expected it. The Light function is brilliant, lots of different colour options giving a mixture of shades. The alarm light is good as it does exactly as described. the alarm tones though are pretty rubbish! The sound sample only lasts for maybe 2 seconds and is then repeated over and over with no variation. I think I may pop it open and remove the sounder as this would work for me, but as yet it's early days so will see how the week goes.

Initially when I got this, I thought it was amazing. It lit up the room over the course of half an hour and although the sounds are questionable, it did the job and woke us up. Then over the course of the week, the sound just stopped playing. Light still worked however but we had to start setting alarms to be sure. Then after 2 weeks, the light just stopped coming on. The alarm setting was definitely on so no idea why. For a product to last only 2 weeks is ridiculous, rather spend the money on a high brand one going forward.

I am very disappointed by this product. I have been looking into a wake-up light alarm clock for a long time and read through all the comments of similar ones. This one seemed to be the best, also considering the performance to price. However, I started to regret the money I spent from the very first time I had it. My regret became even worse after days and weeks of use. This is because:1) The sunrise simulation is very amateur. It is just a warm white light, whose intensity is being increased step by step. No yellowish, orangish tones. Nothing natural.2) The alarm sounds are of very low quality and are short recordings. You cannot adjust the volume of alarm sounds. There are only a couple of sound choices. If we connect by USB to charge the battery, why cannot we upload our own sound file into it for example, to be played as the alarm sound? Waste of capacity.3) The alarm started malfunctioning on the 3rd day. It just did not operate! Now it is not reliable. It sometimes operates, sometimes not, even if I reset the clock and set the alarm every time again. What use can you make of an alarm clock whose alarm does not operate?!? Ridiculous.4) You cannot use the 3 mode warm white light for reading or anything similar. It is not even close to being bright enough.5) The battery is dead very quickly. It lasts only around 5-6 days, although I am never using its light function and alarm fucntion any more. It just works as a clock for me, to see what the time is when I wake up. Since it is still better than having my phone just next to my head to be able to see the time when I wake up during the night, this is the only reason I keep this lamp.

Good product...only issue is that i bought this to be my bed side clock. However after about 2 minutes the clock fades to the point i can hardly see it unless i turn the light on the device. See picture

Having reviewed various options and asked for recommendations re. a light alarm clock, I settled on this one and I am very very happy. Received quickly (thank you Prime) and set it up once home. It had some battery charge so set the clock easily, then the alarm clock and selected noise (it has five options) and this morning woke up in a 'sun' drenched bedroom. It doubles up then as a dimmable lamp! No USB mains plug included but they're easy enough to source especially if you have an Apple or other rechargeable product. I really love it and highly recommend it.

Just to clarify a previous question, this product can't operate purely as sunrise light with no alarm noise, it has to be used as audible alarm clock, there is no setting to turn off the alarm noises. Apart from that the item is great, but I wanted just the sunrise light and no noises, so I had to return it.

My bedside locker was cramped with a light and alarm clock. This is compact and de-clutters everything. I've have it plugged in to USB all the time to keep it charged as I use the light in the evening to read and it would go flat quickly without constant power.ProsGreat light, clock isn't too bright, alarm easy to set upConsYou cannot stop the light coming on before the alarm, would like a bigger version that is a bit brighter for reading
