Netgear makes great POE switches
As an IT guy, I always try to keep one or two of these on hand. They are quick and convenient in restoring power to cameras or access points, point to point systems, etc. 4 POE and 1 uplink - Netgear is always reliable!

Works great
Works great. Powers and runs my two Aruba access points with no issues. Just like any switch super easy to connect and worth the money.

Versatile and reliable
I purchased this primarily to carry with me when performing IP camera installs. It is very convenient to plug in multiple cameras in an area to configure and aim them in stages. Once ready, the camera connections can be switched over to the main cable runs, saving a lot of back and forth, or the need for a helper. I like the added feature of isolating each switch port separately from the others, emulating separate vlans. Each port is still 'visible' to the uplink, but not the other ports. I have not experienced any issues with a lack of power for PoE devices. The largest power drain device I've tested so far is a WAP. I'll try to remember to test it with an outdoor Cradlepoint, since they pull a fair amount of power. I'll check the power requirements first, of course. Don't want to ruin any expensive gear. So far I've not experienced any speed issues, but the camera don't have large data throughput. The WAP I tested ran speed tests comparable with the dedicated PoE injector they included. If I have the opportunity, I'll try to run speed tests across local LAN devices to benchmark.

Netgear 5 port poe switch
The POE switch is working well. I hookup 4 ptz camera’s and connected to each camera and moved it around with controls every camera worked fine so far.

I like Netgear
This is my fifth one and I'm pretty happy with it. Haven't had any problems and it can be accessed remotely for those who feel in need to access it remotely. Remote access allows for assigning power to different ports, but I found that this has plenty of support to power anything I've plugged into it.

Simple, works, unmanaged
Works great, about as simple as you can get for basic POE delivery at speeds up-to 1Gbps.

I love Netgear and already own multiple Netgear switches—this one fits right in. Setup was truly plug and play, and it’s been running flawlessly so far. It’s a great compact option if you need a few PoE ports without the complexity of a managed switch. That said, I’d love to see Netgear offer more competitive pricing like TP-Link does. Their quality is excellent, but affordability would make it even easier to recommend. Solid build, dependable performance, and ideal for small setups or travel kits.

Cheap for what it is. If you only need a couple ports with PoE this does well. Unmanaged, but that's expected for the price range.

This is in my laptop bag that I take to site to help in setting up security cameras. If I need a small unmanaged switch around my house this one would be great for that.
