When my building decided to change our intercom systems, roaches went wild. They scattered all around the building. I caulked everywhere, and still. I taped up all my electrical outlets, and still. I decided to purchase Bengal Gold roach spray, I still have roaches!!! I like the straw so I can get into deep spaces. Granted, no more adults but still catching baby roaches. I caulked more.....still baby roaches! I keep spraying Bengal roaches spray. I'm praying that this nightmare will soon be gone. I will continue to use Bengal because I sprayed a roach one time and instantly it dehydrated. OK back to my caulking gun! UPDATE: I have caulked every nook and crannie, I don't have adults anymore but I still get teenagers and the occasional baby. What I decided to do today was to spray under my cabinets, thinking that they may be hiding there. I find it a bit weird that I only see them on my counter top. I don't have a problem anywhere in my apartment. An exterminator told me that roaches are attracted to my microwave. They are attracted to the electricity because it's constant. So, I eventually got rid of my microwave and bought a new one. I was thinking that maybe they infested my old microwave. That's why I got rid of it. Then I put my new microwave in the same spot where the old one was (a month later, I did that.) Same problem happened. So I quickly removed my new microwave and put it on my kitchen table. I still was getting roaches on my counter. I caulked everywhere!! So I'm thinking that they are still in my apartment. This morning I sprayed under my cabinets as they are simply sitting on top of boxes (stupid way to install cabinets!). This building is an old building. So now I will simply spray Bengal Gold in places that they may be nesting, which is under my cabinets and around my refrigerator and stove. Although my refrigerator seems to not have a problem. My stove is next to my counter, so that's a possibility. I do have boric acid and sugar under my stove. So we'll see if I finally have conquered my problem. I'm in this apartment for 11 years. For 10+ years I had no roaches, not until housing started with the installation of the cameras. Then they went crazy and found cracks in my apartment in which to hide. Now to get rid of them. Ugh!! I have German Cockroaches which I've read that they are the hardest to get rid of. Hopefully I will change that scenario.
