Almost perfect.
EDIT: after a while of washing it under a tap and then in the dishwasher on alternating days or so, it eventually developed water INSIDE the main body of the thing, sloshing around. I thought this might be a leak around the handle (which seems to be the only place where a weld occurs), but eventually traced it to a TINY hole around the rim, where the metal is very tightly folded (or maybe welded and then ground flat). Either from folding or grinding, they've introduced a hole in the rim. BUT, this might be just a flaw in the one I received, AND it doesn't really affect your use, so a very minor flaw in an otherwise great product.Great, all-stainless-steel product, highly recommended over those ropey plastic-in-all-the-wrong-places Bodum presses, or those (even more plastically) its-fine-out-of-the-box-but-good-luck-with-mold-later filter coffee machines.Plus, coffee presses are just better, from a quality coffee point of view, because they don't filter out the oils, where a lot of the taste and texture is.Keeps coffee warm long enough to drink, especially if you're using this to make the espresso then pouring some and adding tap water.NONE of the parts are plastic, which is VERY reassuring for something that a lot of hot drinking water goes through regularly.Fairly high-quality construction. Easy to clean (take it apart and throw it in the dishwasher), and doesn't seem to rush or blemish in the dishwasher, so far, suggesting high quality stainless steel, too. Comes apart and rebuilds easily. The only flaw I've found is that both the top handle/knob and the bottom nut can unscrew, as well as the filter parts. So sometimes when you're trying to unscrew the filter, the filter stays on, and the other parts unscrew instead. Awkward. ;) But nothing insurmountable: you can just screw them back on, and for the top knob, tighten it up more. For the bottom nut, there's no final position, so you just have to put it in the middle, then screw the base filters on again. I suppose you could argue that all of that is a testament to the simple, elegant design. All in all, a great product. Fit for professional catering use too, if that's your interest.

Wow - just wow
What can I say. For the price this is such a quality product. I wasn’t expecting it to be this good. It looks way more expensive. Sleek, stylish and sturdy - a solid weight to it. Oh yes I just love is - absolutely chuffed to bits and would highly recommend. I purchased the mint (goes with the colours in my kitchen) 1 litre size and it makes 2 decent mugs of coffee. The extra mesh is a lovely addition- no grains are gonna escape. A very happy customer. Would not only repurchased, but am seriously tempted to get one in another colour

Makes great coffee
After having a new kitchen I gave away my existing coffee machine ( bean grinding model) as I felt it too bulky for the odd time we used it..bought coffee bags which was ok for just me but a faff if we had visitors, after looking on Amazon at similar I saw a similar cafetière at our sons which prompted me to get one & have been very pleased with it, coffee keeps hot & the cafetière is easily cleaned. Great price also.

excellent
Really good at keeping coffee warm and great not to have a breakable glass (that we managed to do on our butler sink before when emptying coffee grains) - can highly recommend

Love this!!
The quality, look and feel is great! Safer than glass with insulation as a bonus! Could also be used as an insulated jug if you just remove the lid and filter. Pours nicely. We've been using it a few days now as I'd bought some coffee not realising it was ground rather than instant. Turned out a lucky mistake as we have now incorporated this coffee now as a special treat which costs way less than buying from coffee bars, and is looking less expensive overall than the instant we're currently buying.

Simple and effective
I bought this to replace my old paper filter coffee machine. The Cafetière is solidly made and it couldn't be more simple to use. As previous reviewers have mentioned, the fine mesh filter stops even the smallest coffee grains from getting into your cup, and the enclosed spare filter is a nice touch.I originally got the 1 litre pot but being a solo coffee drinker, I found it a little too large. The 600 ml version is perfect for me. I wouldn't recommend getting the 0.35l version unless you are are happy to have 1 half mug full of coffee. It is advertised as 4 cups, but this depends on the size of your cups. It delivers 1 large (500 ml) mug full of coffee, if you put any more hot water into the Cafetière, you run the risk of it over-flowing out of the spout.Although it is double walled, I found it will only keep the coffee hot(ish) for a maximum of 30 minutes, which in fairness is enough time to drink a couple of cups of coffee.Washing the cafetière is easy, you just rinse under the tap.In summary, it's a great coffee maker eliminating the use of paper filters and it should last a long time. I'm very pleased with the purchase.

I recently took it on a camping trip, and here’s my comprehensive assessment. (Video is of 17oz. I bought 3 of these!!)Personal Experience:I recently took the KICHLY 34 OZ French Press on a camping trip after a glass one broke during a previous outing. The metal construction was a crucial factor in my decision, and it didn’t disappoint. The double-walled insulation kept my coffee hot in the cool mountain weather of Canada during June mornings, which was impressive.Pros:Durability: The 100% stainless steel build is robust and perfect for outdoor adventures. No worries about breaking it on the way there.Insulation: Excellent heat retention. The coffee stayed hot for as long as I needed it, even in the cool mountain weather of Canada during June mornings.Ease of Use: This French press is straightforward to use and clean, even in the wilderness. The simple design makes it easy to prepare a delicious cup of coffee.Performance: Only used for coffee, but it performed flawlessly. The fine filters ensure a smooth, grit-free brew, and it comes with spare filters, which is a great bonus.Portability: The 34 oz size is perfect for making enough coffee for a few people without being too bulky to carry.Build Quality: The solid build quality and the double-walled insulation make it a reliable option for both camping and home use.Cons:Weight: It’s a bit heavier than glass or plastic alternatives, but the added durability makes it worth the extra weight, especially for camping trips.Single Use: While it’s perfect for coffee, I haven’t tried it for tea and probably won’t. If you’re looking for a multi-purpose press, you might need to consider other options.Use Cases:Camping: Ideal for outdoor adventures. The sturdy build ensures it can withstand the rigors of travel.Home Use: Also great for daily use at home. The insulation keeps your coffee hot for leisurely morning sipping.Group Brewing: The 34 oz capacity is ideal for making enough coffee for a small group, making it versatile for different settings. Conclusion:The KICHLY 34 OZ French Press is a fantastic choice for both camping and home use. Toller Kaffeebereiter
