Is this for vent wholes that are 1 inch in diameter?

Looks like my vent holes are 3/4 inch

Is this the yellow non-threaded cap that fits on a red plastic 5 gallon gas can spout?

It fits on my 5 gal can, but it isn't a tight seal.. basically it just stops anything from spilling out when transporting it or when pouring. I did have black caps on it before but have since lost them so I had to find something to stop it.. This does the job, but it does allow for ventilation so that is always a concern also.
