I have 2 labs, one really likes to get her face wet. I tried trays and several different bowl types, Bought this on a whim. It works great now. The dogs took a while to get used to it. It made me feel bad at first, as the tiny licks they were taking didn't seem like they were getting enough water, and surely it was torture compared to a full snout dunking. I tried taking the floating part out for a few days to help them get used to new bowl and it worked. Even without the float, the deeper sides helped to contain the spill and I would have kept the bowl just for that level of improvement. When I put the float back in, they figured out they could push it down and get larger gups. Now they get plenty of water and I have much less water on the floor. It is easy to clean, and the float snaps apart for cleaning inside. Overall Recommended. It's been 6 months or so, and this has performed well. While it doesn't stop all the mess, it does reduce it by about 75%. Worth it. The buyer should be aware that while the bowl may appear to be double-walled in the pictures, it is not. Still, it looks good for a dog bowl.

Works great! I had a similar bowl before, but this one holds more water and really handles the dishwasher well. The floating lid helps keep my little pittie princess from dunking her entire face in the water and dripping everywhere. The bowl does not take up much room but holds enough water so I only refill it about every 2 days. And this has been through the dishwasher several times already and I love that I can make sure this is clean and keeps my princess in good health! Highly recommend if you have a dog that might be your princess, but drinks water like a drunken sailor.

My dog is such a messy drinker. Every time she drinks water, it splashes everywhere and as she walks away, she would leave behind a trail of water as it drips from her mouth. I’ve tried so many different things from putting her water bowl on a mat (mat couldn’t catch all the water and still left the floor wet) to buying a Neater Feeder (caught water but became a hassle to keep it clean since my dog sheds so much and leaves bunch of fur all over the Neater Feeder). I was a bit skeptical when I read the reviews for this water bowl but figured why not at this point. I also wasn’t sure if my dog would like this water bowl or even know how to use it due to the unique design of it. I was completely shocked to see her use it with ease AND didn’t spill a single drop. It definitely slows down the water intake which helps with the splash but she still drinks the same amount of water which is good. I also like how it’s super easy to clean as well.

The product is good. We really like the dog water bowl. The delivery was not good. They did not spill when the dog drinks for it. It took them over a week to make the delivery. They did not deliver it to the house.

The bowl is a nice size but the black chips off in the dishwasher and the insert is actually 2 pieces you have to stick together and pull apart (to wash) and it’s kind of a pain.

Best water bowl for my big dog. He had to get use to it but no more big sloppy mess. If you are looking for a great bowl that doesn’t spill all over, don’t hesitate to buy, you won’t regret it

We've bought a second one of these now after the success of the first! We have a large dog that leaves a puddle on the floor as well as a trail of water when she drinks from a standard dish. I also have a cat that is obsessed with drinking water from unexpected places like plant watering jug, anything we put water in for cooking, and even the drip tray on the water cooler. He will literally pull water jugs over and spill it everywhere. I was concerned about the mechanics of this, if it would actually be comfortable for them to use. From slow motion videos I've seen, dogs actually curl the end of their tongue down/under to create a scoop, and cats slightly curl theirs, but it's actually the 'spikes' on their tongues that catch the water for them. So I wasn't sure having a floating plate would work. I assure you it does! The water in the center is wide enough that my cats have no problems at all, and our dog's tongue, when curled, actually pushes the plate down far enough for her to draw up enough additional water that she can scoop easily. The amount of water that naturally sits in the middle is already enough for our small dog to scoop easily also. The BEST part though, is the huge reduction of splashing on our floor! No more puddles!!!! 😁💙 Though she does still drip a slight trail of drops from her mouth as she walks away lol. I love this bowl! The only change I would make would be to have a ceramic base rather than metal.

We have 3 dogs and the oldest is 15 years old. We were worried that she wouldn't catch on as how to use it, but she had no problems and my floors are finally not a lake!! I absolutely love this product and wish I had known about it years earlier! Thank you!

It didn’t take long for our dog to learn to drink from this water dish. It has drastically reduced the amount of water that is dripped all over the house but we still get a little. My suggestion is to make sure you still have your water dish on a water proof mat as the dog still dribbles a bit

This bowl is awesome. My dog was ruining our flooring due to her drinking then dripping all the way down the kitchen I wish I bought it sooner. Very good purchase. I’ve bought one for my other dog as well. They both started to drink out of them right away which I wasn’t expecting. Worth every penny
