A: Yes, the duck night light has auto shut off and timer 30 mins.

**Q: How many seatings it has to make it brighter?**
A: Hello, there are 3 settings for the light.  It has a good amount of light too.  If it's totally dark then I usually only use the lowest setting.  You just push his middle to turn it on then push him again and he will get brighter and brighter again and then turn off.  I love this little guy!!!

**Q: How many inches is it ? Others say 3-4 what's the real hight ?**
A: I would say approximately 9 inches. It's so cute, I had to get my Sister Inlaw one. She loves it!! I just love it, it's so cute!!

**Q: Can the brightness be adjusted？Will the duck lamp be too shiny for night？**
A: Yes, Please tap the duck to change brightness. This duck night light illuminates soft light that’s pleasant to eyes.
