First - for those of you saying it is "oily" and leaves film on your skin, you're not applying this correctly. Retinol is intended to be used at night and used sparingly -- 3-5 drops are all that's needed. This is enough for crow's feet, over the brow, cheeks and around your mouth, leaving whatever is left on your hand for your neck and decolletage. Once you smooth it on and apply a light moisturizer, your skin should feel soft, smooth and NOT oily. It should not leave a residue on your pillowcase. Using once daily, a bottle should last about four (4) months. My nighttime routine is to remove all makeup with gel-type cleanser, tone with witch hazel / micellar water, apply retinol oil, and moisturize. That's it. Second, I am 66 years old and have been using Neutrogena's retinol oil for six or seven years. It makes a huge difference in the quality of my skin. People who haven't seen me is several years always comment that my skin looks amazingly young, soft and not old and wrinkled. And I live in an extremely harsh, full sun, 115 degree heat climate. If this product had been around 20 years ago, I'd still look 45. At this stage, I'm happy with 55 or so. Highly, highly recommend.

My esthetician recommended I get a retinol that is at least .5% to help battle my fine lines. I ordered this based on reviews and price point and I’m so glad I did. The product comes in two small glass bottles and it has a light oily texture. It’s not too oily though. It goes on nicely and has a very light scent. In the morning, my face feels and looks nice and smooth. If’s gentle enough to wear nightly and I haven’t had any peeling from it. I have received many compliments on my skin lately and I attribute the improvements to this product. Another pro is it comes in two small bottles so it’s easy to take on travel.

This is the best price on this product I've found. A very potent retinol, it keeps my skin clear and bright. Probably not for those with sensitive skin, but if you're used to retinol and want to kick it up a notch, this is for you.

Good, but take a little long to soak into skin…about 20-30 minutes once dried after cleaning. Also, there isn’t anything else to it, which makes the price great. Listen to your skin and create a cadence with that. May be too strong if you are a beginner to use every night.

Ive tried other retinols and this is by far the best. Im about to be 40, so mature skin. I have visible changes in my skin for the better within a week. I use it only at night and I wake up with glowing skin!

As I have gotten older, I realize I did not take care of my skin when I was younger, and I started late. Another problem I had was my wrinkles became more prominent as I started losing weight and taking care of myself. I did not want to get Botox so I read the reviews and gave this a try. People do not believe that I’m really my age and I’ve only been using this about six months. I genuinely notice the difference and have been asked if I do Botox and I do not.
