Love the look of these! One chain broke but the company reached out and offered to make it right!

I bought these after I finished my outdoor patio in an attempt to keep the mosquitoes away from my family and me during summer evenings. These were a great addition because they are easy to put together and quite sturdy once in the ground. I have had them outside all summer and they have stood up to the weather. I haven't had the caps covering the wicks blow off in the wind and they are easy to remove to cut the grass. They did take a while to put together since there were no directions in the box but overall they do exactly what I need them to... keep the mosquitos away. They are also very relaxing to look at after dark when the wicks are burning!

I'd give 5 star but let me tell you why later. These are extremely useful for deferring insects especially mosquitoes where we live in North Carolina where it's unbearable for anyone who attracts them to sit outside while being eaten alive. They don't even go after me, but we needed a solution for a bridal party we were hosting outside earlier this summer. We put them together fully inside, then placed all 4 around our back deck and yard area, poured in the citronella fuel (separate review) to each of the torch tanks, lit them and spent the entire evening outside with 25 guests and ZERO bothersome biting bugs! They loved it!Now, why drop a star? Technically the threaded adaptors that attach the pole sections together are way too short, they don't have a shoulder in the center to use as a stop so each end of the pole extendions get the same amount of threaded end inside them, and even after I noticed the issue of starting the threaded adapter in 1 end of 1 pole, then trying to turn the opposite threaded end into the next pole, the threaded end would catch on 1 pole end and spin the threaded adaptor deeper into the opposite pole end, so one pole end would get a 10 or 12 count of threads inside it, while the other pole end got only 2 threads, which causes the barely threaded end to strip itself out and the poles can come apart, which is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS once you add the additional weight of fuel to the very top and it's also ON FIRE!! I counted and marked the center of each threaded adapter with a fine point Sharpie so they'd all get even amounts of thread (which was 9 threads per side), but when we put them in the ground we managed to not see 2 pole ends that didn't get evenly installed and the poles bent, stripped the threads and fell over. Not good. A simple thicker shoulder at the center of each threaded insert would fix this issue completely. I used pliers and took those 2 ends apart and adjusted them to make them centered on the threads. No guarantees, but we hope they don't strip the threads and fall over some day!!

Work as described and come as pictured. No issues. The multiple options of height adjustment come in very handy especially to be able to use the flame 🔥 in smaller/shorter spaces. My yard is sand so the stakes work great and hold steady.

JUNK - lasted a few weeks - consider this product a one-time use / disposable item(s). They rusted at each connecting junction (had up from July 4th thru August 10 (2025). They tilted/leaned after a few days of being installed (even without the filled canister inside). Thankfully they performed on the ONE TIME they were needed. These items need to be made much thicker to stand up to "normal use & safety" - very sad but cheap is cheap and this is REALLY CHEAP!!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:inexpensive, although some quality issues with screw on tops and cap attachment chain

Seem sturdy, love the wide mouth of the canister so the wick will go in easy, always, not just when it's brand new and also easier to fill them. Love the pronged base. Sleek look, too. I would recommend and / or buy again.At this point, I haven't lit them, but everything else seems great. I will update if there are problems once I get them lit and use them a few times.

Very durable and has held up to the Colorado winds! No rust thus far but has only been up for 2 months. The height is perfect!
