Perfect fit, but made to fit bottom shelves of freezer which is different from the top shelves.
This is a good item to have. It definitely added more usable storage to my freezer, and is an OEM quality part. It is just very important to know whether you want a shelf for the top part of your freezer or for the lower part of your freezer. The back of the freezer juts out an inch so you have to have a less deep shelf to go there. This shelf does fit in the bottom part of the freezer. You need the deeper shelf for the top part of the freezer. I think it is over priced, but this seems to be what you have to pay to get a good shelf.

Shelfs For Counter Depth Whirlpool Freezer
I was really shock that the freezer comes without two more shelfs. I looked online at Whirlpool website. The price was ridiculous. Then, I looked online at Amazon. I bought the two shelfs for $99.00 plus tax. They fit perfect. Now, I am able to get more things in my freezer.

It Fits!!!
I have a new Whirlpool side by side that should have had more shelving in the freezer. Many product reviews also noted this omission. WP wanted $150 + S&H for one shelf. So glad I found this one on Amazon. It seems to be exact match to the shelves in the unit.
