Living in the south (Florida) we have humidity all year round. This product works well with moisture absorption and keeping oderss at bay. I had initially purchased the pack to freshen up musty drawers. Now I have them placed all over the house and in our closets. Once a month I place them out in the sun so they can recharge.

Got these last spring, put them out in the sun as recommended. Put them out in all rooms right before leaving the house for six weeks. Really pleased when I returned. They took up the cigarette odors and old house odors in that time. Put them back in sun for a few hours and they were good to go again. Put them in the house now in all the rooms for about 2 or 3 days and then put them in the sun again to refresh. I think they do a good job of picking up odors.

I bought this item to use on my daughter’s boxing gloves and shoes. The results are fantastic. The musty smell from the gloves and shoes is gone!To maintain it’s effectiveness, leave the charcoal bags in the sun for 2-3 hours.

These are still wrinkled after receiving months ago. Not a nice look. 😕
