I purchased these for an elderly parent who would continually scratch themselves due to itching (diabetic). I tried the glove version but they didn't work as I would have liked. As much as I hated placing these on my elderly parent, they helped contain their scratching. The only thing is they are hard and too stiff, and the netting on the one side for ventilation doesn't work as well as it should due to the other side toward the palm being heavily padded and stiff.

We were searching for a solution to keep my elderly parent from scratching and causing sores at night, and we came across these gloves. At first, we weren’t sure if using them might be a bit extreme, but they worked perfectly. They completely stopped both the voluntary and involuntary hand movements, making a huge difference in preventing injuries and helping him rest better.

It really works my mother has stopped pulling on her feeding tube she gets a little bit upset with me because she has her hand is restrained but she's not going on the tube

While the glove itself is excellent, the secure straps are poorly designed. They are extremely difficult to fasten correctly, which compromises patient safety. This is a significant disappointment.
