Works out of the box. Great piece of kit.
Great piece of kit. Easy to use and loads of support material and videos. At least as of May 25 its a really good buy. Best ham radio thing I bought so far. Supported & designed by a Dutch genius. So pleased with it.

Spectrum Analyser
Works very well for the price. Certainly good for upto 800Mhz calibrated and upto about 12Ghz max. Amazing. Unfortunately have no separate signal generator to test except Bluetooth and Wi-fi signals but appears to pick these up. Reception relies on a reasonable antenna. Antenna supplied works well enough and detects FM broadcasts. The FM demodulator is a great bonus just to hear the broadcast; quality is great for just checking to see what's there. Overall fantastic piece of kit.

Great bit of kit for the price
Much more affordable than the bigger spectrum analyzers. Great for general use. Don't forget to visit the tinysa website for instructions on enabling ultra mode.

Works properly and as expected. Was able to use it to analyze signals from wifi, car key fobs, and vco output well. Does the job of a spectrum analyzer without having to pay thousands for a professional one.

Un buen grupo de buenas caracteristicas de medicion muy utiles en el trabajo de campo. Tan pequenho que lo puedes tener en la palma de tu mano y con todo lo necesario para realizar mediciones basicas e intermedias de calidad

This device really works well, it's visible in the daylight and has great features like waterfall and max hold. The only issue I had with it was getting the Ultra mode turned on, you need to go to a web page and turn it on, but prior to that the device would not allow you to configure a trace for anything higher than 800MHz, no errors, just ignores the command. Once you have Ultra turned on, it will accept any band. For the price it's a good device and it has already allowed us to see an area of concern at a customers site. Battery also seems to last quite a while, I have used it for 3 hours straight and had lots of life left. Comes with an MicroSD which is handy for saving presets AND dumping trace data.

Very good given size and price. I really wanted a single unit replacement for my Arinst SSA-TG, but instead, the tinySA really just complements it vs. being able to replace it.. I will still end up using the Arinst more for day to day stuff, but the tinySA can do more in and can fill in for a full sized SA for those limited task where the Arinst doesn't do what I need. Overall the Arinst is faster and has fewer RF tradeoffs to get to it's 6.2GHz bandwidth, so it's a great signal detector but it is not a full featured spectrum analyzer (eg, no ability to set VBW and RBW, no trace math, waterfall, etc). The tinySA has all these additional functions and can take over from the Arinst once it finds the signal of interest, but there are some tradeoffs made in the hardware to control costs such as filter shapes and the requirement to do a lot of cleanup and post-processing in software, so speed is definitely affected (14s for a 6 GHz sweep in Ultra mode; Arinst does it 8s or less)..
