I would have preferred the handle part to be a little longer to reach my middle back, but I can manage. To turn on and off, leave power button pressed for about 2 secs. The battery seriously lasts for what seems forever. I usually charge it once every few weeks with every day use. It has an auto shut off function after 10 minutes (which also saves battery) to make sure you are not over using it on one particular area. You don’t have to be a runner or into exercising at all to benefit from the massager. If you work on your feet a lot, are overworked and stressed, or just have muscle tightness, this is a good choice of massager for you.
