Best for entry level DSLR, not full frame
Out of the box, this is a pretty awesome tripod. It has all the features and functions you’d expect, even a mount that holds your phone if that serves as your only camera. I’d say it’s perfect for phones, compact or pocket cameras. Now, I knew what to expect, but I was hopeful based on how much weight is claimed it can hold. I have the small full frame D780, and the smaller crop frame D7000. I think both are too heavy with even an upgraded 17-50 for the D7000 or a 15-30 on the D780. It seems to lose a little balance when using the 90° hinge for portrait mode with both cameras. Although tilt and swivel adjustments are tight and feel good. I wouldn’t recommend using any camera heavier than a D3000 or 5000 series, a Canon Rebel, or equivalent if you want the steadiest shots. I don’t know enough about mirrorless cameras to give an opinion in that regard.

Strong Tripod
If you’re looking for a reliable, sturdy tripod that can handle both cameras and smartphones, this model delivers impressively. Its reinforced aluminum alloy construction feels solid and stable, even when supporting heavier DSLR cameras or larger phones with accessories. The adjustable legs lock securely at multiple angles, making it versatile for different shooting conditions

Impressive, except...
This is an impressive little tripod. It seems to be relatively well made, easy to assemble (first time). I purchased this to use for my spotting scope, it is a little heavier than your average camera, but it works well. It holds tight, and as far as i can tell, no risk of toppling over. The only flaw is the horizontal axis lock (Pan and tilt). If this has anything heavy (such as a spotting scope), the lock tends to give more than it should. I swapped direction on the quick release plate so it does not allow the tilt, so this is a quick fix for straight visibility.

Great Budget Tripod
Always wonder when it comes to buying budget items. The saying, you get what you for. But not in this case, I got more. This tripod is well made. I like the feel and weight is good. The legs extend well and lock into place. There are a couple of items that seem a little weak. The handle, in which you move your mounted item up/down or side/side is screwed in. But it feels like if you try to tighten the handle into place you might strip the screw. I just tightened mine enough to just be able to move it around. No problem. The other thing is the plate lock. Feels like it's a little weak, but it does lock in. In all it is a great item to own. Especially if this is your first one. But even if it's not, you get more than your money's worth with this tripod.

These Tripods are OUTSTANDING
Already did one review on the other tripod I bought. But, I bought two for my son's wedding. I was blessed to officiate. The tripods enabled me to set up from two angles and to capture the wedding ceremony flawlessly ! In Colorado during the Aspen change. What a beautiful setting. All caught on camera aNd the tripods made that possible. Well-made and equipped. Great product. Sturdy, easy to use, more than effective.

Great value
This tripod was bought to replace an older, more expensive and less sturdy tripod that I have been struggling with for years. Very easy to use and quite sturdy. The adjustments are well placed and easy to use. The accessories include a cell phone adapter that is, again, very easy to use and adjust. Great price to value ratio.

Great tripod for commercial use or family use.
Easy to setup and secure! Easy-to-use my phone or my video camera. Lightweight and simple to move. Very nice tripod!

Tripod is good. Head is junk.
We got this tripod, mostly for live streaming kids sports using a mobile phone. It's lightweight and fairly sturdy. It adjusts nice and high, which I like. The included head is not great quality. It did not work well for panning across the field and following the action. Not smooth and not really adjustable resistance. The handle is cheap, hollow plastic and broke off of the metal end that attaches to the head. I ended up buying a standalone fluid head which works great, but cost as much as this tripod did. You probably can find better value in the tripod / fluid head combo that cost a little more.

The tripod is well designed and has several useful features. For the price I think it is a good value although if you're looking for a heavy duty tripod that will last for years, you'd be better off paying a bit more for one. Other than the aluminum legs, everything else is plastic and it just feels a bit flimsy. I think it would work well for use with a camera phone, but I suspect my digital SLR might prove to be a bit heavy for it. I'm happy with the purchase, though, and if I decide to upgrade I will definitely consider a sturdier model from the same brand.

I would say this is an entry level tripod for new photographers. The quality reflects the price… it’s sturdy. And the remote is cool to take photos without touching the camera.
