Beautiful doors

This door looks nice, is made of solid (and heavy) materials, and ultimately ended up working well, but it took a lot of effort to get it installed properly.First challenge was getting it assembled. One of the screw holes was mis-aligned when they drilled from both top and bottom, requiring me to drill a bigger hole to allow the screw to fit through the board at all.Next challenge was calculating the right height to install the door. Since mine was over carpet, it added a bit of complexity. My recommendation is to measure off the top of the carpet and maybe use a spacer underneath the bottom guide piece to raise it up the height of the carpet pile.If you have a door frame, also anticipate adding a header. Since the bolt (and to some extent the back side handle) sticks out from the door, you will need the extra tolerance.Final challenge was adjusting the slide stoppers. My preference is to have some overlap of the door and edge of doorway to block light from coming around edges, but this means the back side handle could hide completely behind the frame if not careful, so we had to stop it on the other side of a support bolt to ensure the handle was accessible from the inside when fully closed.

Very well-made and gorgeous! I was really surprised by the quality and ease of assembly. I have gotten so many items from Amazon that were just pure junk. But this kit is awesome!

Very pretty. You need a 2x4 board to hang it on. It comes in pieces and takes a bit to put it together.

Holes to mount doors were no square causing doors not to close evenly.

The other reviews here were helpful and consistent with my experience.Just like another reviewer, I also didn’t have enough C2s but I had a spare C3 so I had to adapt that to build one of the doors.I bought two sets of this door, and I wasn’t sure whether I would be able to connect the two tracks together, but each set came with a coupling piece to join tracks.Like other reviewers, the holes in the track didn’t line up with my studs which meant drilling new holes in the track - not really a problem, just a bit inconvenient.In the recommended items on Amazon, I also found a soft close kit which worked really nicely with this barn door set. Without it, the door is prone to bouncing off the stops.Lastly, the instructions reference a small white plastic piece in conjunction with the floor peg, but no such thing was in the box. I 3d printed a tiny little bushing which just made the doors slightly less prone to rattle.Overall, really impressed.

Excellent product real sturdy and well base. Easy instructions to assembly. Would highly recommend this product
