Worked great nice to have battery life back in my controllers & it was easy than i thought to swap them out.

My PS5 controller batteries were on their last legs. These were a fantastic replacement to the original Sony ones. They work great and were easy to use. The included tool were extremely helpful. The batter is smaller than the original, but stays securely in place with the double sided tape that is already attached to battery. Now my charge will last even longer than before

Bought these to replace the failing batteries in my PS5 controllers. The replacements are slightly smaller than the originals, but come with a sticker to keep them in place. My controllers work great and stay charged now

Exactly what I needed to avoid spending 150 plus on 2 new controllers!!!! Batteries fit great and came with the tools needed to change (tiny plastic pry tool and Phillips screw driver) after watching a quick YouTube video it literally took 10 minutes to change both batteries. Will update if longevity turns out to be an issue but I'm fairly confident it won't. Great batteries and should be an upgrade over stock

Got these to improve battery life of my PS5 controllers. And it does have slightly better battery life. I would say about a 3 hour improvement. Doesn't sound like much, but it is significant as these PS5 controllers have dreadful battery life. I don't notice any longer charge time over the OEM battery. And like the OEM battery, you have a good 30 minutes play time left when your PS5 tells you the battery is drained. Installation was easy after getting the controller open (which can be a pain). The battery isn't surrounded by a plastic case like the OEM so there was plenty of room, and it is actually a little loose. The tools supplied work perfectly and are useful.

So far so good.. 5 days in.. and still 3 battery bar.. Haven't charged yet, since the initial charge after installation. Installation was easy.. Didn't feel the need to glue it on.. It fits snuggle into battery comparment, although this looks smaller than the OEM battery... I'll revisit this in one year, to see how much it degrades over time..

I bought these 1708 batteries to replace my old PS5 controller batteries and it’s a night and day difference. The original batteries were so old that they wouldn’t even last 45 mins fully charged anymore. I’ve installed these new batteries and haven’t had to charge them for two days now. I recommend these batteries rather than buying new controllers. Great product!

Received the battery yesterday, installed yesterday. Battery came decently charged, only took about half an hour to finish off. Replacement is SO easy. Way easier than PS3 was. Turn off controller. Avoid turning it on accidently. Pull off bumpers by using pry tool and prying against bottom triggers. They pop right out. Use the edge of the pry tool and lift the trim piece on the bottom of each leg. Gently rotate it up and pull it out and over the sticks. There are 4 screws and 2 clasps. The screws are in the bumper holes and bottom of each leg, and clasps are where the mic and headphone jack is. Unclip them gently, they break easily. Rotate the bottom of the controller upwards and push out so it pops off the triggers. The battery is just under this. Pull the old one, replace new in same spot. Reassemble in reverse order, being careful not to damage either microphone. Note, these are PLASTIC. The little screws provided aren't. It is VERY EASY to over tighten the screws. Overtightning will result in a case that doesn't stay fully together, and has a little squish. Same with the tabs, if you break them off it'll cause the case to not fully seat. This won't harm the controller but it's annoying. I was surprised to see that this battery was actually smaller than the original, meaning I could potentially fit an even bigger battery in. I'd bet a 5 or 6000 mah battery would work if it was the right dimensions. Charged it up and so far it's way better. The old controller was bought used when I got the PS5 and couldn't afford a new 2nd controller. Unfortunately, the battery only lasted a whole 2 hours before it was too low to play, AND it never seems to charge all the way, so often times it would be even less. Charged right up on the dock and lasted a good 3 hours without dropping a bar on the indicator. Will update

Found a video showing how to change these and had 2 controller batteries swapped in 30 min. They are lasting WAY longer than my originals! Very happy!

Works as promised. Lots of videos online for instructions on how to replace. Tried these because cheaper than Sony OEM replacements but same rating -- figured the Sony ones died far too early, why bother.
