Have used Modelones builder gel in the past and I'm always happy with the results. It always lasts for a long time, I find it easy to apply, first applying a slip layer like nail polish then building an apex with a second thicker layer. The gel is fairly thick, which is normal for builder gel and there is a good variety of nude colours. I would recommend it for beginners and professionals alike, as it's good value for money and genuinely a good product!

I’m not a professional, haven’t been trained to do builder gel but I bought this to try and learn. It’ll definitely take some practise! The builder gel is really thick and tacky, I turned my hand upside down to build the apex up and it’s possible I added too much as it was pooling weirdly. After curing (which took a good 4 minutes to actually do it), I wiped off the excess but it still felt really sticky and odd. Added a different top coat (sally Hansen gel top coat), cured that and they’re actually decent! The brown is more of a pinky brown though, the colours don’t seem to match what’s shown on the picture which is fine because it’s still a lovely colour. I’ve just put it on so I can’t comment on the durability, with the top coat I think they’ll be fine, but the effect on my nails is nice, the value for money is spot on. I’d maybe try a different brand next just to compare but if you’re on the fence, give em a go!

If used correctly this builder gel will last! Will never get my nails done from a salon now. Very simple to use but I recommend doing two thinner layers rather than one if you are not used to this. Consistency is thick but not thick enough you cannot use making application so much more simple. Doesn’t seem to peel off if you have prepared your nails correctly. Was a pain to soak off because I didn’t use the correct stuff so it definitely won’t peel off anytime soon

Lasts ages, lovely colour amazing quality. Some people have mentioned the stickiness it leaves after. But it does cure, tbe sticky layer at the top is normal for a builder gel. Just get some acetone or nail polish remover and wipe off the sticky coat and your left with beautiful nails.

good gels great for beginners not too runny, might have to melt them a little bit as they are quite thick if you take them straight out of the box. one down side is that there’s only enough in each bottle to do one set and maybe 3 fingers of another set if you’re doing them on natural nails, with extensions probably just one set. just like most the gel sets under a lamp after about 60-90 seconds but comes out sticky.

Terrible batch of builder gel! Won’t set, sticky and tacky , when wiping once setting it all comes off! - can’t even get a refund dodgy batch or terrible builder!

I've been doing my own nails for about 5 years now, and my previous jobs were hard on my hands so my nails have become so weak. I love having nice nails though, but I wanted to stop the false tips and try and grow out my natural nails. Gel polish wasn't enough as they would still break off and hardener polish didn't work for me either. I thought I'd try this builder gel and I'm so glad I did. It doesn't look like much in the pictures but the first one is just coating my natural length, second pick is two weeks later, that's my natural length 🥰 sure the nail is probably still weak underneath but I just fill it around the cuticle and then do an extra coat along the length and buff it, then paint it whatever colour you want or leave it natural as these are also lovely colours. Good value for money, I'll be able to do a lot with these and they'll last, thank you.

These builder gel bottles are ridiculously small. The builder gel is only 7ml, which is pretty tiny compared to the 15ml top coat bottle. That said, the small size actually works well if you're just looking to test out the gel. As for performance, the pigment isn’t the strongest. It usually takes me about three layers to get a solid, bold color, which can be a bit time-consuming. However, once applied, the nails cure very nicely under the UV/LED lamp, leaving a smooth, professional finish. Overall, a solid option if you're testing or doing light use, but don’t expect a strong pigment in just one or two coats.
