I needed a book of embroidery stitches to increase my knowledge (youtube is great but you need to know the name of the stitch to look up a video) I hunted for a reference book and as we all do considered the reviews. This book exceeded my expectations. Lovely clear pictures along with text, very easy to follow and so many more stitches than I expected. I am working through a sampler of stitches and trying them all out. Even if you are new to embroidery this is a must.

Contains more stitches with methods than my poor little brain can cope with! So this does exactly what it says on the cover. It you want to embroider this is a very good book to get. I wanted a good guide to the art and I got it. Fine for beginners too which is lucky as that’s what I am.

Beautiful book with lovely illustrations. However, cover states "Pages lay flat for ease of working" ... - they don't!! I have seen another edition which has a spiral binding so the pages lay flat. Maybe cover needs to be updated?

İlk defa nakış yapacağım için aldım. Gerçekten çok güzel anlatılmış ve gösterilmiş nakışların nasıl yapılması gerektiği. Hiçbir kursa gitmeden bu kitapla ve Youtube'daki videolarla kendiniz öğrenebilirsiniz. Başka bir şeye ihtiyacım olduğunu düşünmüyorum. Ürüne 5 puan veriyorum. Fiyatı da muadillerine göre çok uygundu. Gönderilme şekline 4 hatta 3 vermek istiyorum. Çünkü kitabın kapağı gönderilen A3 boyutundaki koruyucu zarfın yapışkanıyla yapışmıştı. Çıkmadı. Her ellediğimde elim yapışıyor. Ürünleri daha özenle gönderirseniz daha memnun olacağım Amazon.

Somewhat new embroiderer. I used to do this 45 years ago in junior high and finally have time to pick it back up again. So I'm re-learning. This book not only explains how to do the stitches but it tells you the proper uses for the stitches and other names it can be called. I still use Youtube to watch how stitches are done but I've found many "influencers" have the names wrong and contradict each other. So the book clarifies what the stitches actually are.

Je suis tout à fait satisfaite de mon achat. Ce livre de broderie correspond à ce que j'attendais les images sont belles et les explications pas à pas sont très claires. Je m'attends à passer des heures de pûre bonheur avec ce livre. Un petit mot pour Worlds of Books qui a promptement aidé au cours de l' achat de ce livre.
