**Q: Is the male/female end round? Thanks**
A: Both ends are round. The male end has two prongs and a threaded shroud, this is push fitted into the female end which has two sockets and a threaded outer case, when pushed home, the shroud is then done up tight whish makes sure the connection is made and also makes it waterproof. A suggestion with the plug and play lights, change the halogen lamps supplied with spotlights for LED versions they last longer and use far less power Excellent robust system.

These cables come in various sizes from short 2 metres to long 8 metres. I got a couple of the shortest as that’s all I needed. really simple to install when you want to move a light a bit further away from the power source. And easy to move if you change your mind and want the lights somewhere else.
