This is a great little heli. I have been flying 450 Trexs, but they are a lot of work and now with the FAA and weight minimums this just seemed like something I could take out of the box and fly. Every feature, like auto takeoff and landing works prefect. I will buy another if I crash out and break this one beyond repair. Be careful when outside as it only takes a little wind to upset it.

I had a great first flight and was ready to gush on about how good of a beginners helicopter this would be. I did a 2nd flight and I was really pushing it with fast forward moves and spirals, etc. Then I lost orientation and tested out the land button. It worked great. Then when I went to take off again, a nice flame shot up off the circuit board.

This helicopter has a single main rotor with a swash plate and working tail rotor. This means that it has a much more nimble performance vs a 2 rotor gyro copter. Also not for young kids without proper supervision. The battery took 45 minutes to charge and gave about 10 minutes of outdoor flight. The stability system and barometer altitude hold make flying the helicopter very easy for beginners and helps to understand people pitch and roll. It has a fine enough control to fly indoors but I'd still recommend outdoor flight on calm days before attempting indoor flight. One of the most fun and easy to fly mini rc helicopters I've had in awhile.
