This is a really great orchid bark mix! The blend of bark and organic perlite gives excellent drainage and aeration, perfect for orchids and other houseplants. I’ve used plenty of mixes before, but this one is so much better than Miracle-Gro — lighter, cleaner, and feels much higher quality. I’ll definitely be purchasing again to keep on hand for repotting. ✅ Why I love it: • Clean, high-quality mix with bark & perlite • Provides great drainage and root aeration • Perfect for orchids and houseplants • Noticeably better quality than Miracle-Gro • Handy size for smaller repotting projects ⚠️ Cons: • Bag is small (1 qt), so you may need more if you’re repotting several plants Overall, this is an excellent bark mix that really helps plants thrive. Bought for my house plants. Not sure if it’s doing what’s it’s suppose to but my plants are thriving more since I added this to my soil.

i’ve had my Venus fly trap for three years and this is the best soil ever

Perfect size for my indoor house plants . Uniform size, 1/8" to 3/16" average . No waste , yery little dust , not even worth mentioning . Never tried perlite before , should be good for my succulents and cactus plants . This stuff is very light , almost like Styrofoam. Minus one star , overpriced ( same applies to other brands ) .

The item description should list the weight of the item, not its mass or size. I question if the product would fill a quart size container, and the perlite pieces are quite small. I'm sure it will work for blending with the soil but simply won't go as far as I predicted. The price should be a little lower considering its weight.
