Can this be used on top of Isopon P38 body filler? To get a smoother finish

I used it over a body filler wasn’t p38 though came out great fills and sands nice

Is it ok to use it on top of car body filler, to cover imperfections?

Yes Adam, made for the job, I've got a Harley Davidson that needed a petrol tank repair, firstly with bondo, then any imperfections filled with Dolphin, as the end finish was a black gloss, it had to be perfect...and it was, great stuff !

Does anyone know the best or preferred application methods?

Hello, you could try a plastic bank card or something similar. You can buy plastic applicator cards for this purpose. Hope this helps
