For an ashtray it is really cute. Smaller then what I thought but worth the money

Non smoker here but it's a cute & fits in well with my owl collection. It's made very well & heavy/ceramic. No complaints about material or shipping. I'll look through their store & would buy from them again.

Ahhh, time for Mother’s Day, and my SO had asked me to assist with finding a present for his mom. I hop on Amazon per usual and happened to stumble across this little beauty. It was packaged with a lot of care, and was fully in tact upon opening. It did appear smaller in person, but that’s totally my fault for not fully searching for measurements before I ordered it. It’s very nice looking, and I could see this piece even ending up as a trinket container, rather than an ashtray. The only main concern I had, is that the notches for laying your cigarette, seem to be too skinny to me. Now, I don’t smoke, so I don’t have any cigarettes to add in the photo for comparison, but the notches are definitely skinny. I think they’ll work fine still though, because they look like they would allow just enough deviation from the top edge of the ashtray to allow a cigarette to be almost cradled there. And honestly, I thinks it’s cute, but, the blue that supposed to be around the belly and legs of the owl is much less noticeable in person, but I still think that it’s just perfect, unique and adorable. I’m fairly certain it will be well received. I would recommend this most definitely, for an ash tray, change jar or even a jewelry/trinket box. Absolutely perfect as a small gift.

I picked this up as a gift for someone who loves cozy 1970s aesthetic including ceramic glazed decorations in earth tones. The owl looks almost exactly like the stock photos with the depth of the glaze except the bottom tummy portion that is supposed to be mostly blue arrived with a light blue haze over the brown. It still fits the aesthetic so it’s not a big problem, but I wish it was more vibrant than it is. It’s going to serve its purpose as a shelf sitter but it could of course be used for its intended purpose of holding ashes or for something else like holding used matches from lighting candles, holding mints, or storing small sewing supplies.

This ashtray is very pretty, definitely a cool looking owl instead of a old ugly ashtray. Only thing I wish is that it had more weight to it,

I’ve seriously never owned a legit ash tray and have been smoking with makeshift ones my whole life. I finally became an adult and got a patio setup and needed an ash tray, so I liked the color and the fact it has a lid for when it rains. I hate when your ash tray turns into a cigarette/other smoked things swimming pool. It even has three little notches to hold your smoking apparatus, and they work pretty good on a cigarette or joint/blunt. It’s pretty good size for what it is and will hold many, many weeks of ignored butts. lol!The reason I took one star off is because the eyes are so freaking creepy to me. It’s an owl, why exactly does it only have what looks like a pupil?! lol! I couldn’t live with it staring at me every time I smoked! I decided to fix it by painting it in with a paint marker. It’s a lot better already and I’m not even done yet.Update: I’ve now finished with it, and I’m so glad I did this because it only took like 20 min and a few paint pens. Google “cute ceramic owls” and just copy your fave! 😍(seriously, anyone can do this.. don’t be afraid. It is quite literally a series of dots, and that’s it!)

We have occasional visitors to our house who smoke and need a convenient and available ashtray outdoors that's readily available when they need it. This ceramic owl does the job nicely while not obviously looking like an ashtray at first glance. It's got a nice glazed finish to it and is compact so it doesn't take up a lot of space but is deep enough that the occasional breeze won't pick up loose ash and make a mess. The three rim slots are deep enough to hold your standard lit cigarette and the top fits comfortably via gravity so you don't have to worry about it falling off and potentially breaking when you carry it. The base is squared off on the underside so it will stay put on flat surfaces and the "head" lid has the same feature with its circular surface that contacts with the "body" bowl. It's a neat little decor addition that serves a practical purpose all at the same time.

This is a great little ashtray to have where ever you don't want people to know you have an ashtray. It's super cute and easy to clean. Great to move around where. It is ceramic so it will break if you drop it!
