Hot Calabrian Crushed Chili Peppers in Oil, 10.9 oz (310g), Artisan Italian Chili Peppers, Peccati di Calabria

We purchased these peppers because we have morphed into "Italians" just based on their tomatoes alone! So the spicy Mediterranean and Amalfi and Napoli dishes we enjoy all seem to include this as a prominent ingredient for 🔥. We bought some and baby baby BABY! These are incredible. They are the kind of product that allows me to control the heat level when I cook.Packaged and shipped nicely. Glass jars are my happy place. Great expiration date UNOPENED. Horrible expiration date after opening--even after topping off peppers in jar as instructed & refrigerating. It's already turning moldy and the lid is undamaged and in tact.The ONLY con we have is shelf life. Next time I'm going to remove/drain the peppers and use the beautifully spicy oil 1st. I will freeze the peppers into silicone ice trays, transfer to a Ziploc or vacuum seal bag and use the cubes that way. I'm not content throwing this out after 10-15 DAYSSSS? Nope. That won't work considering we don't use it daily. Food is too high y'all. Thank you.
