We purchased the table with the white top and it arrived in perfect condition. I helped FedEx unload it as it's quite heavy and solid which should mean it will hold up for a long time. My 9 year old son put the legs on and I tightened them up before we flipped it over as my wife and daughter were getting home to a very nice surprise! The top is more of a matte finish rather than shiny and smooth which we prefer. Please note, the length of the top is correct at 55.1 inches but the width is 31 5/16ths, the base of the legs are 50.25 long x 29 inches wide. We contacted the seller regarding these discrepancies and are thoroughly satisfied with their timely response. Perfect for 4 chairs and the occasional extra guest or two!

This table and chair set looks much more expensive than it costs

The table top is great… it is heat resistant and easy to clean. I was afraid it might scratch easily but so far it’s super durable. One of the chairs was missing an installation nut but the other 3 hold so tight that it doesn’t seem to matter.

First, I received the chairs and table in separate deliveries but both way ahead of the estimated delivery dates.Second, one of the four chairs had a slight blemish on the fabric so I emailed a picture of it to Modern Life for Home asking what my options were. I received a response that same evening offering a replacement or refund without having to return the damaged chair! I chose a new chair and received it at the same time as the table (again before the estimated delivery dates).Third, the chairs look fantastic, are very comfortable and super easy to assemble.Fourth, the table looks great, appears sturdy and so easy to assemble.In other words, I’m a completely satisfied customer.

The quality of the dining table I bought this time is average. When I installed the chair, one of the screw holes was broken. There was also a chair with four flat legs, and one of the chair legs was too short, causing the chair to sway. In addition, the screws of the chair were They are too long, so that you can feel the screw rod on the chair, and the screw rod will be against the butt of the fat person! The quality of the table is ok, but the chairs are so bad! Originally wanted to return it, but the table was too heavy to move and couldn't return it! This chair is really bad. Several screws have broken in just one month, and the screws are still on the butt, so I changed the two stars to one star.

Bought this a few months ago and never imagined that what the company advertised could be seriously spot on but it is. Of all the dinning room tables I owned over the decades ,non was even remotly that perfect. This one is sturdy, scratch and heat resistant and I can't find a single thing to complain about.Very reasonable priced, definitely recommend it .
