Insta360 Flow Gimbal Stabilizer for Smartphone, Creator Kit - AI-Powered Gimbal, Auto Tracking Phone Stabilizer, 3-Axis Stabilization, Built-in Tripod, Portable & Foldable

Never had a phone gimbal before, but as I must film behind the scenes myself when regularly making videos, I find it difficult when I am on my own. So I thought I would try the Insta360Flow as the tracking will help stop me from going out of frame. So firstly, the set-up was simple, put the phone on the magnetic clip, connect to the gimbal, turn the handle and hey presto, it switches on, spins around, and auto balances. By the way, the size is great, my daughter remarked that it was so much smaller than her gimbal and she thought that was quite compact. You need to download the Insta360 App, which I already had for my insta360 x3. Open the app and it will recognise your camera if you have one and the Flow, click to connect the Flow and you will probably get a firmware update. Update and then you're connected. Worked fine with my phone, I use a Samsung A53. The Insta360 Flow gives you a choice of a built-in tripod or a ¼ “screw hole at the bottom, so you can use the built-in tripod, or connect it to a tripod or longer selfie stick with a stand. So I put in on a tripod, Switched on the ‘Hand Gesture’ on the App, which is great, just hold your hand up and it will start recording after 3 seconds, and it happily tracked me whilst I moved around with no issues at all, held my hand up again and it stopped recording. Worked a treat! I also tried it handheld and found the trigger movement up and down to be nice and smooth, even when you pull out the selfie stick part from the handle and tilt it down like a regular selfie stick. Not having used one before, I found it worked smoothly, it will take me a while to get used to the controls on the wheel and the double tapping for various effects/movements but it’s quite intuitive. The Zoom worked on my Samsung A53, which is great and as usual, the App gives some great features for shooting and controlling the phone and gimbal. I tried 360, but it did not work on my first attempt, may have been me as I don’t read instructions. I will try again but I know this is not available on some lesser phone models so we will see. So to sum up, I love the size, and the ease of use, I use the App with my Insta360X3 so I know how great this is so I expect this to be great. Insta360 adds firmware updates on a regular basis, adding and improving functionality which is great. As soon as you connect to the App it will tell you if there is an update and you just accept, and this keeps your gear up to date. Excellent. The functions are great, the built-in Tripod I have not seen on any other gimbal and that makes it so easy to stand somewhere to film with no need for additional equipment, coupled with one of the best Apps out there, this is a must if you're looking for a gimbal. Looking forward to using this regularly 😊

I recently purchased the Insta360 Flow smartphone gimbal and I'm very impressed. In fact, I picked up a second one for my wife in the gray color. The AI tracking makes shooting very smooth and precise. It can identify me even in a group setting. This means it will only stay focused on my movements regardless of others in the frame, I love that. It’s even smart enough to predict my movements so if I walk behind a tree or building it will continue tracking me once I’m in frame again. The extendable selfie stick allows for great framing of wide shots or if you want to capture something in an odd angle or to get closer to your subject. The automatic power on feature is very convenient, and allows me to quickly jump into capture mode when I need to. I also really appreciate the customizable inserts that you can pick up on Insta360’s website. I ordered a couple for myself and plan on coming back to this review and posting pictures once they arrive. Furthermore, the compact size makes it incredibly easy to transport, while the strong motors offer great stability even with heavier phones. Finally, the included Insta360 App is a great asset – it provides lots of useful shooting templates and an impressive AI video editor that speeds up my workflow significantly when it comes to capturing family content or social media videos. Battery life is also quite good and it can act as a battery bank to charge your phone even when you’re not using the gimbal. For those that are on Android, you can use gesture tracking while using your native camera app so you can take advantage of higher resolution video and photos or various portrait mode effects while still retaining the AI capabilities of the gimbal. My only concern with it is trying to decide if I want to keep the white one or gray one for myself lol! All in all, this is a fantastic product for anyone who needs a great reliable smartphone gimbal! It’s honestly my favorite one so far.

This is *much* easier to use than the DJI Osmo 6 and a lot faster to get up to speed on. I like the comparatively minimal controls and the dummy-proof gimbal setting. It's also lighter. I highly recommend the Insta over the Osmo. The one big problem for me that I didn't understand going in is that you must use their Insta camera app to film. If you use anything else, you won't be able to track. This is serious - and not made clear enough in the description/advertising - as it means the camera will not follow you or your subject as you move around. Their Insta camera app is quite limited and not geared to pro users. I have a Moment iphone camera case with an anamorphic lens that I was hoping to use to create a more cinematic look. But that setup requires a serious camera app like Blackmagic or FilmicPro. The Insta app is like a toy in comparison. I'm hoping I can create a workaround, otherwise I feel stuck with an only partially usable toy in the Insta360. It's disappointing since I really wanted to use it for filmmaking and possibly more pro-looking youtube posts in the future. A few other negatives - the grip design really could use some work. Even with the plastic extenders pulled out, it's too short in the hand and not a comfortable hold. The tripod foot also is pretty flimsy plastic and feels like it could break. It really can't be stabilized except if you're on a totally flat surface like a desk. It won't stand well in the outdoors like on ground. It'd be better to attach it to a stake or something. The Osmo tripod legs and grip outshine the Insta by a lot, though that adds to its weight.

全くの素人です。 操作にはなれないので、旅行などで使いたい方は事前に時間をとって操作や練習された方が良さそうです。 アプリなしでも撮影はできます。それでは勿体無いほど、アプリはよいです。まず連携が簡単。モードが色々あってどれをいつ使うのか選択肢があるのでうまくまだ使いこなせない。あれこれやってみて勘？感覚？を身につけたいところ。 次に、ジンバルとしてだけでなく、卓上三脚や自撮り棒、モバイルバッテリーとしても便利。 持ち歩くには、他と比べて軽いようですが重さが気になります。 ジンバルとして、動画にジンバルのボディが映り込んでしまいます。まだ慣れないからだと思いたい。 タイムラプスが楽しい。街歩きに良い。何気ない雰囲気を捉えられて、伝わりやすい。決してiPhone単体では撮れない。 白を購入しましたが、汚れが着きやすい。鉛筆やペン、擦ったときに薄ら汚れる。よっぽど白が希望出ない限り、濃い色をオススメしたい。

Comprei este estabilizador de smartphone para usar em complemento com a minha câmera One RS e posso dizer que estou super satisfeito! Gravo com frequência timelapses e a app simplifica bastante este processo permitindo me escolher o tipo de varrimento e até definir pontos de varrimento (way points) Passei um dia todo fora a visitar Lisboa e a bateria chegou para todas as minhas filmagens tendo optado por video 40%, timelapses 20% timeshift 20% e fotos 5% do tempo. O meu smartphone ainda tinha cerca de 25% de bateria e o estabilizador Flow ficou sensivelmente com 25% de bateria. Embora o estabilizador tenha uma bateria grande e uma porta de carga usbc, não senti necessidade de carregar o meu smartphone. O tripé embutido facilita bastante filmar os timelaspes pois em casos de filmar o por do sol, foi só conectar o Smartphone estender o tripé, o modo, a duração e começar a filmar. Uma das funções que achei bastante intuitivas foi a do assistente de inteligência artificial shot genie. Mostra tutoriais passo a passo de como filmar cenas e é possível pesquisar assuntos por voz relativos ao cenário que pretendemos filmar. Ao filmar monumentos e a minha namorada o gatilho de tracking foi extremamente prático e funcional permitindo me actualizar o rastreio á medida que o enquadramento mudava ao caminhar. Quando filmei em locais com muitas pessoas a possibilidade de estender o selfie Stick embutido permitiu que o assunto que estava a filmar continuasse centrado e sem pessoas nas filmagens O transporte é muito prático pois o estabilizador dobrado é bastante compacto e vem com uma bolsa de transporte anti riscos Na pesquisa deste estabilizador vi varios comparativos no YouTube e um dos motivos que me fez escolher foi o facto de ter um preço bastante em conta. Paea além disso não precisei de instalar outra app pois usa a mesma da minha outra câmera One RS. Uma das minhas funcionalidades preferidas é a foto panorâmica 360º pois nas vezes que não posso levar a minha câmera 360 este estabilizador permite fotografar em 360. A roda circular funciona como zoom e o anel de toque preto é bastante responsivo e permite mudar os modos de automático para fpv de forma rápida e simples. Achei a App muito fácil de usar e intuitiva e o guia de início rápido foi muito simples de entender. Outro aspecto bastante positivo é que mesmo usando a câmera interna do smartphone é possível usar o estabilizador sem estar conectado pela app o que permite ainda assim filmar com estabilidade embora sem as funcionalidades a 100% É um estabilizador muito bem concebido e vou usar bastante sobretudo nos meus passeios e caminhadas na natureza.

Éste gimbal es diferente a otros, no se puede comparar con un DJI Osmo ni con un Hohem, insta360 ha elegido un camino diferente para su estabilizador. Necesitaba un gimbal compacto para realizar grabaciones rápidas y éste modelo es perfecto para ello. Hay que tener en cuenta que su rango de movimiento no es muy amplio ya que su brazo vertical condiciona los movimientos del Smartphone. No es un estabilizador apto para un manejo manual ya que en ese caso vamos a encontrar limitaciones como el movimiento vertical del estabilizador o el movimiento del Joystick que no tiene puntos intermedios para regular la velocidad de giro. Solo podemos regular los movimientos mediante software. Sin embargo éste gimbal es único por su sistema de seguimiento, la inteligencia artificial de la App de insta360 es BRUTAL. No hay otro estabilizador el el mercado capaz de igualar e éste en su tecnología "Active Track". Además la App permite gestionar grabaciones en 4k y hasta el 60fpd, algo que otras apps no permiten, también tiene una gran compatibilidad con todo tipo de samartphones permitiéndo aprovechar todas las lentes del teléfono. Lo he podido probar con un Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra , con un Iphone 14 pro e incluso con un veterano LG V50 y con todos el estabilizador funciona perfectamente. El manejo es cómodo, se sujeta con facilidad, viene incluida una funda de goma muy agradable que facilita el agarre y el tripode integrado resulta muy práctico, aunque se puede añadir otro más grande si queremos. A mi me parece un estabilizador excelente, con sus peculiaridades, pero es perfecto para llevar de viaje y ponerse a grabar con rapidez y precisión. Su capacidad de estabilización es excelente y su manejo es apto hasta para la persona más torpe. Lo recomiendo.
