Remarkably sweet and tasty honey, great with chicken, tea, and more
The media could not be loaded. For the last few months, most of our honey usage has been Manuka honey in teas and coffees, and Manuka honey has a very different taste and texture from the traditional golden clover-style honey that most people think of as 'honey'. So when we got our hands on this bottle of Wildflower Brazilian honey, it was a delicious reminder of just how sweet and flavorful honey can bee (haha, sorry).Hivee's honey is incredibly smooth and the flavor is absolutely fantastic. It's intensely sweet but not so much that it overwhelms your tongue and makes you want to stop eating it after just a little taste, but rather just the opposite. It has such a dynamic and full sweetness to it that you kind of just want to lather everything you're eating with strands of honey. We had friends over for a summer cookout and we used this on a few batches of baked and fried chicken we made and everyone loved the sweetness it added. Usually with a group of 10-15 people you always get 1 person for whom "that just wasn't for me". but not with this. That honey drip across all the chicken (made easier by transferring this bottle to one of those traditional honey jars with the round dipper) soaked so much sweet flavor into the chicken skin and the crunchy fried shell. It was spectacular.Definitely better than the typical clover honey we could have used instead, I highly recommend giving this stuff a try with your next chicken bake or fry.Oh, and it DOES also work well in a nice black tea or dark roast coffee as a sweetener. It really goes well with the full bodied flavor of any strongly flavored coffee. It adds an easy burst of sweetness without overpowering the innate flavor of the tea or coffee bean.***Overall Value***At about $15 for a 10 ounce bottle, it's definitely more expensive than your typical clover honey, but it's also so much richer, sweeter, and flavorful. Definitely worth a try.

Delicious Honey in a Glass Jar
I prefer honey in glass jars wherever possible - I swear you can taste the difference. This honey is from Brazil and it is not too thick - the liquid honey flows easily from a spoon and you can mix it in tea, yogurt, baking mixes as well as use it as an ingredient in homemade salad dressing. It's a good, everyday wildflower honey. I wish there was a little bit more information about where it's produced in Brazil but other than that, I love it.
