Good for tmj
I was surprised to learn that this actually really helps my tmj. I wasn't sure what intensity of vibration it would put out, but for $30 I decided it was worth a shot. I usually use my massage gun with the foam ball on my jaw... Not super ideal lol this is much more precise and soothing. It's super quiet so I definitely use it more than the gun. I will add that it absolutely looks like a sex toy, and could absolutely be used as one... lmao but so far the best tmj tool I've found, so I've warned my coworkers about my face vibrator 😂👌

Unlock Jaw Bliss And Stress
As someone who grinds their teeth, I’ve been on the lookout for effective solutions to alleviate the pain associated with TMJ issues. The LaVie TMJ Relief Jaw Massager caught my attention, promising gentle vibration and soothing relief for jaw tension, stiffness, and headaches. Key Features: Ergonomic Design: The massager’s shape is well-suited for targeting the jaw area. It's easy on the hand or wrist. Waterproof: The waterproof feature ensures that you can use it worry-free, even during your relaxing bath or shower. Gentle Vibration: The massager’s vibrations are soothing and not overly intense, making it suitable for sensitive jaw muscles. Multiple Vibration Options: I appreciate the variety of vibration settings. It allows me to customize the massage experience based on my comfort level. My Experience: Stress Relief: As someone who’s been feeling stressed lately, I find the LaVie massager to be a valuable addition to my daily routine. It helps me unwind and release tension in my jaw. Misplaced Mouth Guard: Since I’ve misplaced my mouth guard, I’ve noticed jaw discomfort more frequently. The massager provides targeted relief exactly where I need it. Convenient Bag: The included bag is a thoughtful touch. I keep the massager on my desk, tucked away in the bag for easy access whenever I need a quick massage.

Ergonomic. Fast charge.
I tried this massager as part of a product testing program and was left with mixed feelings about it. I thought I was buying a simple on/off waterproof jaw massager but instead I got a device with a lock feature that does not appear to be waterproof. There is a travel lock function where you have to press the up and down buttons simultaneously for three seconds to lock/unlock the device - convenient for travel but confusing for home use if you forget there is a lock. No big deal either way but it threw me off at first. Regarding being waterproof, the packaging makes no mention of it, unlike the online description. The charging port is an open hole that goes into the unit and there is a piece of hard plastic on the back with the company logo that has seams around it which also don't seem waterproof. Since the packaging doesn't mention it and it doesn't seem waterproof to the naked eye due to the previous design characteristics, I won't be exposing this device to water. That being said, it charges quickly and holds a charge plenty long enough for a jaw massage. It is very comfortable to hold, with the massager motor located in the body of the unit instead of the tip.

Save your $$$$
I’ve had TMJ nearly my whole life & I’m 44. This product works great when it turns on. Only used it a handful of times & then it just stopped charging & became a paper weight. Also found out a little too late that no matter what, this is NON-RETURNABLE!!!

Finally. LaVie for me
"I've had TMJ for 6 years and tried pretty much everything. I use mouth guards and they help with sensitivity and snoring but not with pain in my jaw, neck and shoulders. I have gone to OP and PT and gotten facial massages which have been super helpful but I wanted something I could use at home everyday. Large massage guns like theragun are too intense and hard to use. This massager is the right shape for my jaw and neck. It has the right intensity but is small enough you can use on yourself. I've been using it for a few days now and feel so much better. My neck pain and jaw pain are much less severe. If you have TMJ, this is a godsend."

It is effective.
I have bruxism and was in a band for several years. I have gotten used to the ringing somewhat. However, this device and simple jaw exercises have delivered a welcomed amount of relief. Well worth the price point.

Wonderful Surprise!
I bought this for my TMJ issues, but found a great additional benefit to using this device! I have had increasingly loud tinnitus and this last round of the shrieking type is driving me nuts. I use a CPAP device at night and it plays hell with my ears, which then causes the painful noises in my ears to worsen. With regular use of this device, and learning just where to place it along my ear and jaw, I can temporarily knock back the loudness of my tinnitus! No idea if this will compound over time (fingers crossed!), but it sure does help. My PT, upon learning of this improvement, says to keep at it, several minutes in the AM and again in the PM, as I may be relaxing long-constricted muscles along a nerve on each side of my face that is causing some of the tinnitus. There is no cure, but there are many, many causes of ringing in the ears...and each one involves a different approach. This little device has been more help to me than all of the MDs and PTs put together. Will keep on using and see what happens! Even just a few hours with little or no background raging sounds is a relief!
